Pretty decent squad, full of England prospects. Was hoping we might see Freddie in the squad but ho hum.

Anyone going? I was thinking about going on the Saturday.

Can't see Fred playing in the NZ Series if he's not picked for this game. It's nice to see players like Finn, Onions, Rashid, Bopara and Harinath, looks as though we've got a positive future. Then with openers like Denly and Godleman coming through aswell we've got a really good future I think. Looking forward to seeing the result of this one.

I thought we might have seen Hoggie or Harmi in the squad as well actually. Both played last year and they need the practice at the moment

Does James Tredwell have something over the selectors of these squads? How such an average county player can be considered a prospect for anything is beyond me.

As mentioned above I expected Harmison to be named in the team just to get some overs under his belt. It really is looking bleak for him now

Have you ever seen James Tredwell play?

He can bat. The first time he batted up the order in a CCh game he got a century.

And he's come a long way on the bowling front, he doesn't get a huge amount of turn, but he was a big part of Kent's T20 success last season. He's a damn fine one day bowler in all honesty.

Remember people were calling Sidebottom an average County player not so long ago!
