MCC XI vs ROW XI

Strauss called calling KP a c*** when he thought he was off air. Has to be fired surely...all these dumb KP haters all over the place :facepalm

ha, first I've heard about this.

It's a rare display of emotion from the normally unflappable stonewaller.

It shows how good he looked, that the only way he looked like getting out was if he did it himself, i.e. playing a bad shot.

And let's face it, Strauss has got a point. :D

Finch is batting pretty well and it'll be funny if he outscores everyone else despite no one noticing he was playing

This is why Tendy & Lara should have opened the batting, was afraid this was gonna happen. All i wanted to see for this game was the two legends put on a substantial partnership...

Finch is an absolute beast.

They should try Sehwag because Yuvraj is not bowling well.

The guys playing his first ever game at Lords; has batted with Tendulkar and Lara and is two away from a Century. I know that he's not the main attraction, but it'd look really bad if they yanked him off now. I think that its good that in a game specifically designed to celebrate recently retired cricketers, its people still playing that are making the big scores.

Fantastic hundred Aaron Finch! He looks very solid out there and is playing his shots with freedom. The longer he stays out there the better for MCC.

There goes Brian Lara.

At the start of this thread, everyone was complaining that there weren't more 'Legends' playing instead of some of the other guys. But we've seen great batting from Finch and Yuvraj, not to mention great keeping from Read and the only quick bowler in the match in Best. Without these guys, it would be a much poorer standard and no where near as close as it has been.

I think it's been a good mix. Just a shame that we couldn't see Warne.

Well and more of Dravid. ;)

I doubt anyone had any money on a bloody Colingwood hattrick...

I haven't watched Chanderpual bat before he retired but has his batting stance always been that way for his whole career? It is truly fascinating to me.
