I love this thread. I smile every time I visit it and think of the rivalry and how we beat Melbourne to get both titles on offer in the Australian League. You can't ask for anything more. It's like City being first by 2 points on the final day, Man United second, they verse and United win the game to win the title, and then Man United beating City to win the FA cup or something.

I wouldn't really call it 'childish'...

It's a sporting rivarly with the root of it from football. None of these Melbourne guys on here are big football fans so basically they have nfi and put it down to jealousy - even though Sydney were the better team in football this year.
