Mindstorm Studios develops official game for Cricket World Cup 2011

You got to market and plan it effectively. Wonders whats happening with the title suddenly. The countdown is finished, No news whatsoever.....

If you look at the graphics of that football game compared to any flash based game, the decision is obvious.

The main issue is that the football game is free and relies on advertising and in game purchases, rather than the expected upfront cost that Cricket Power seems to be going to come with - as that's the case I personally would want something downloadable and permanent - I don't like the idea of paying for something that relies on a company keeping its servers up in order to play it.

That said, again I'm working off low information, the press release is the only official word so far (despite the release date already slipping!).
Apparently the most difficult job in the world is marketing a new cricket game.

I'm thinking it will be released after the all the squads have been announced - wouldn't make sense otherwise if you don't know who's playing.

January so i gues we have to keep checking our self pretty stupid to release a game without much media advertisement i would never heard of this until i came ere.. and this is the official game of the greatest competttion in the world is a joke...

Hmm just heard about it. Sign-up form doesn't work but there seems to be a grayed out option that says "Install". So it appears there will be some form of installation that is hopefully not tethered to the internet.

That said, I'm not ready to pay for a game if I have to play it through the browser.

It's in the one posted in my first post, which I copied off the site on the 15th, since then they've changed '16th January' to just 'January'.

Cricket revolution was nothing but a waste of money,In fact I prefer Cricket 97 more over that junk.Still I think Mindstorm Studios will be the only one creating a world cup 2011 game.

If it is just a patched CR then it will be a big disappointment for fans like us and Mr.Babar CEO . Hopefully they made real changes to the game quality in terms of graphics and other stuff .But, we must appreciate Mr. babar for his trial to produce Cricket games

I hope it comes to our expectations which are very very high and wait for the release. If it is a browser game then wasted.. Noone gona buy that..
