In a game with only 7 players, that would be massively overpowered. Especially in the later stages.

Didn't Sim say he was a noob last game? Yet you've debunked my theory of a godfather and double voter saying both would be too powerful. I'm just trying to throw things out for people to think about, so garbaging them straight off is pretty scummy.

An attempt by Sedition yet again to seem town by suggesting other roles that could be in the game after he slipped there could be a Godfather? Sticking to Manly, as I find it interesting that I was left with Sedition and Manly as potential targets, and despite my warning, Sedition was the one who sort of tried to push other people off potentially lynching his mafia buddy?

I find this to be a suspicious post because it doesn't engage other than to accuse other people and divert suspicion.

Just to clarify Godfather the way I've always understood it is that every game has a godfather but only in some games will the godfather appear town on first investigation.

No, I am not a noob per se. I was joking last game. I am a bit inexperienced but playing even a couple of games with good players, you get an idea of the game dynamics.

I haven't dismissed your theories saying "rubbish, how could you even think that is possible?"
I have just put forward my points why I feel they may not seem very plausible. It is open to debate. You throw things for people to think about. They think and they post.

Yeah I think he's set himself up to try and sneak through the game... basically like a Godfather, which Sedition has suggested exists because he could be his goon or hitman or bodyguard or whatever those roles work can work out as.

I also feel User specifically mentioning that someone was lying when Manly was the only person to claim anything (a crap role) might have been in reference to him. Flying in the dark a bit I suppose, but it definitely has some legs, and as you say, I'll be very interesting to hear what Manly says.

Fair enough, both the last two I played obviously had 2 equal mafia members. Which considering those are the only 2 Sedition has played as well, I can't help but feel he only knows there could be one, because he knows there is one

I'm fairly certain Manly is the cop, I'm just saying that. And lol, sim admits he buddied with puddleduck in putting some suspicion on me yesterday and then buddies with again and suspects Sedition. So atm, I'm leaning towards Sedition/sim as mafia although only really barmy has given me strong town vibes this game.

And also Aditya to some degree because while his play is always borderline scummy, I can normally tell the difference between when he's town and maf, so yeah, atm, I'm leaning town on him.

The real definition of godfather is appearing town upon investigation but on PC, it's been used a lot to just define the leader of the mafia group, with the power to kill.

Well I had a feeling he was wifom'ing yesterday when he said a horrible role and was adding nothing to discussion. The latter is a sign of being an investigative role on Day 1 as they want to just get to night so they at least, have something to go on, while the first part (horrible role) is usually when people actually try to add something to discussion since they won't get anything from night, so it didn't really add up, so I assumed he was just wifom'ing hoping the mafia wouldn't kill him.

Oh, and since everyone else has posted and not claimed cop when it's been suggested cop out and I said it was probably best if cop outted, that just makes me think he is again. Unless cop is just waiting for mafia to claim so they can CC them and get them lynched.

I'm saying nothing about your last point, but I would hope that's the case. I would suggest the cop might already be in the game, and they are waiting for a mafia to claim incorrectly to try and put pressure on them.

Still Manly's post could be very important, as for me he's been the only dodgy person alongside Sedition. One for kind of acting like a Godfather and sitting back, the other for even thinking (knowing perhaps?) there was one. This all from the position of actually having no idea even if there is one, with nothing to suggest to me so far the mafia are any different to other times. Though obviously the whole roles blocked thing tells you more experienced players that the mafia could be a different setup as well.

The other random theories Sedition then presented which Sim first debunked and was promptly accused for, and then Colin prompty gave an even less informative but equally useful negative to the potential for a double voter just highlighting that he's either a townie still desperately searching for answers, or trying to look like a townie who doesn't know as much as he actually does.

Christ, being the cop in the last game was fun, I already knew stuff
