Mini Mafia - Town wins!

How is it that whenever I visit this thread the last post is from Puddleduck? :p

Heh, essay writing... I'm pretty much living off power naps :p And when you're procrastinating, it's very easy to jump in here and post something that isn't Ibsen or Gissing related :p

Also I'm guessing then that if a blocker was blocking someone who attempts a kill, and the blocker themselves was killed, that the blocked persons action would go through?

If a person is blocked, he is blocked. Even if the blocker is killed, he will still block his target. But, if a blocker blocks a killer, he will survive as the killer can't kill. This is just general information I'm giving so, people don't think this is game info. Any more such questions, if needed, can be done in PMs please.

I only asked here because Sim was also curious and we've got two people claiming a block role and a killing role between. Just hopefully clearing up for any of us newish players just how all those situations play out. Cheers dude :)

So Adi, if Manly comes back town, he has suggested you are his prime target for us to investigate, what do you have to say to that? Anything yet, or wait until tomorrow and see what happens?

Yes, I think Sedition jail-keeping me doesn't seem like a bad idea. It'll protect me from the mafia's kill and as I was anyway not looking to shoot someone today, there is no loss there.

We could lynch Manly but lets just wait for the others and see if everybody is okay with that.

I agree we have 24 hours, so we can certainly use it to see if anyone has changed their mind with some sleep :)

BTW hasn't this day been a very long one? Aren't days usually 48 hours or so?

I think in most of the one's I looked at, discussion/reaching lynch target or no lynch has set day time. Then a set night time. It was only Zhuorbyworby's one that had some strict time limits :)

I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, it's beyond me how Manly thinks that if he's town I should be lynched, why not Hedger? I don't mind getting lynched/investigated because I'd prefer that over a townie with a important role getting lynched so it basically depends on you guys. :)

omg, so much to read and I have a headache >.<

Really, I cannot see a vig in a 7 player game. That would be stupid, especially with a jailkeeper as well, and also maybe a cop.

And because sim currently can hammer anytime he wishes, I'm going to Unlynch: Manly

What I propose is that we split the votes between Manly and Sim and let Sedition have hammer.

So Sim should now lynch Manly, Sedition should unlynch and then I'll put my vote back on, Manly lynches sim and then it's 3-3 with Sedition the only one to not vote and then he can decide himself what is best.

Sim could have hammered at any time he's been on so far. I suggest you're making yourself look a bit dodgy there Hedger. Sedition has already said he wants to hammer Manly and block Sim, so I guess you either haven't read through.... or?

----------

He even specifically asked whether to hammer earlier, but agreed to wait for further input when User gave us another 24 hours.

@Hedger - Am I missing something? Why do you want Sedition to hammer, once he unlynches Manly (that is if he wants to) why cannot he straight away lynch Sim and let someone else hammer?

----------

Or maybe you can hammer as you've got lynch on no one at the moment. Your last post is a little suspicious. I don't get it why you want Sedition to hammer, it will be great if you can explain it in detail. :)

I don't see how I'm looking dodgy by saying that. Considering the way we're going, sim is going to have to hammer Manly eventually.

And idk, well Sedition is the most clear, so is there much difference between Sim hammering on Manly or Sedition hammering on him. At least we can say there was a choice if Sedition gets hammer.

Anyway, I don't really care if we lynch either. Manly's behaviour, I still find scummy and I really doubt there's a vig in a 7 player game.

I don't see any reason to leave it up to sedition. Like you I'm suspicious of a vig in a 7 player game so I'm keeping my lynch on Simsanta.
Vig never works out well for the town; last time I played with one I think he killed the town doctor :facepalm
I think he's more likely to be SK therefore we need to act now.
Look at the scenarios:

Worst case
Lynch Manly (town). Simsanta (Vig/SK) kills town. Mafia kill town. Game over.
Lynch Sim (town). Mafia kills town. Not game over.

Why take the risk?

Valid point. Cause even if we nl, and there is a SK in the game, it's pretty much game over. If we lynch Manly and he flips town and sim is SK, we just gotta hope SK and mafia take each other out otherwise we pretty much lose.

Either that or the scenario; Manly lynched (mafia), Sedition role blocks vig/serial killer and then we go into the next day and see what happened in the night.
