Crazy to think Manly is back in this, he was pretty much dead man walking not long ago, and Sim was barely under suspicion until you pressure lynched him. Maybe you're right, actually. You pressure lynched, and he never really needed to claim such a role, he's put it on himself somewhat, as he's made himself dangerous.

Lynch Manly (town). Simsanta (Vig/SK) kills town. Mafia kill town. Game over.
Lynch Sim (town). Mafia kills town. Not game over.

You make a valid point. But look at it this way, if you lynch Manly, and Sedition jailkeeps me, then the only worry that remains is that Sedition might get killed. But even if that happens, and if we assume that there is no doc who can protect him, you would have gained a lead from the investigation of the cop. So we would be 2 townie down and with 5 players left, we would have 1 clear or mafia suspect, the cop who claims , leaving 3 players 2 or 1 of whom is mafia based on the cop's report.

We could then lynch the maf report and I could kill the most suspicoius player remaining. The game would be sealed for all purposes.

And moreover, if I was mafia or 3rd party, I would have jumped to hammer Manly and wouldn't have even seemed very suspicious, because everyone had more or less decided on him. I kept waiting, for everyone else's opinions because after all we have to do the best for town.

You know you are right in a way. I realise that my role-claim hasn't proved very revealing and has raised more doubts than answers, but the reason I claimed was because frankly I couldn't see what I should do with it. Poor play? You could say so, and if I get lynched for it, I would know what to do next time.

If I'm not wrong, you're trying to say that we should risk Sedition to clear you, isn't it? Why should we do that? Your role is not confirmed and for now, all of us believe Sedition and if he dies just to clear that you're a vig, it would be foolish of us.

Okay let's say that we indeed lynch Manly and you're saved. How can you actually prove that you're innocent? What if you're SK? You've not used your role yet, you've role claimed too late and now you say that Sedition to risk himself to protect you, makes no sense but makes you look more scummy.

See, if I had been SK, tell me this:
A) Why wouldn't I have killed Night 1?
B) If you think I targeted Hedger, who was jailkept, why would I do that?
Wouldn't I kill someone like Barmy who has been the most helpful for town?

Agreed. Def wasn't expecting that claim. Was just applying some pressure.

This is the bit I'm still stuck on. I just don't see why he wouldn't have lynched Manly when there was no suspicion on him? Baffles me.
