Please dont talk about that... I am gutted, the season is coming to a horrible end.
INFO:
THE NEXT LOT OF GAMES WILL BE POSTED WITHIN 1 WEEK, I HAVENT GOT A LOT OF TIME AT THE MOMENT WITH COLLEGE, AND WORK AND FOOTBALL. I WILL GET THEM ON ASAP.
All you really need to do with Droylsden is that because we had no transfer funds at the start of the season, get players on frees. Then because I have us so high I have just received a transfer budget of 60K.
I will take a shot of all the players I have brought in since I took over.
Also, I am going to start doing reports, however this means it will be longer from posting the results to the next batch of results.
Droylsden were the form team heading into this crucial clash for both teams. Droylsden needed 3 points to push them ever-closer to certian survival in the conference National, however Stevanage needed the points to push themselves into the play off places.
Droylsden were the underdogs (yet again), however, here is the result:
Lee Sweetman had this to say afterwards: "I am over the moon with how the boys performed, Neil (grayson) yet again out shone, and no offence to Stevenage, they were out played. We now have a lot of breathing space between us and the relegation zone."-
Droylsden were the visiters to the recreation ground as they travelled to face Grays. Grays were looking for revenge over Droylsden who beat them earlier in the season 3-2 at the butchers Arms ground:
Droylsden were left behind after 16 minutes as there star striker Kirk Jackson was injured. Grays then made Droylsden pay as Jamie Slabber and a wonder goal by Micheal Fox put Grays 2-0 up, Droylsden hit the post twice and then in the 87th minute Jake Edwards got a consolation goal back for Droylsden with a free header.
Shame about a few of the results there... against some off my local teams (cambs and rushden!). Still I feel you will survive relegation. One thing we do know is Farsley are going down... Great update! KUTGW!
