Lee Sweetman has today announced that Paul Gascoigne and Lee Sharpe are going to be Droylsden players.

"I noticed that there contracts had run out, so i thought i would approach them, they were both willing to sign, so i finalized it"

Droylsden FC's board president Dave Pace had this to say on the matter.

"Lee Is proving a great manager with 2 more signings that has cost us nothing. With our improved balance of 383K compared to 100K at the start of the season i have given Lee a transfer budget of 60 Thousand pounds to use in the up and coming transfer window."

"I would love to Get Droylsden into League 2 by the end of next season."

The dream tie would be an away trip to a premiership team

Our main goals is to survive in the Conference this year and push for league 2 football next season.

After 3 straight losses in a row, Droylsden were looking for better luck against a Kidderminster team not far above Droylsden themselves.

Things didnt start the way Droylsden wanted as after 65 minutes they found themselves 2-0 Down. Lee Sweetman then pulled out the changes, bringing on Kirk Jackson and Dean
Crowe. Jackson made an immediate impression as after 69 minutes he slotted home from Simon Weatherstons cross. This didnt look enough for Droylsden, but after 80 minutes they
were level, Jackson this time 1 on 1 with the keeper and slotted home. Droylsden fans went mad then when Dean Crowe tapped into an open net after 86 minutes.
Crowe then capped a stunning Droylsden comeback as he played Jackson in behind the keeper and he slotted into an open net for his hat-trick.

Droylsden made it 2 games unbeaten after a brave battle against York at the Butchers arms. Andy Morrell opened the scoring after 29 minutes, and it looked like Droylsden had already
thrown the game away. However, what Lee Sweetman said at half time seemed to work, immediately from the kick off Neil Grayson hit the bar, However in the 80th minute, the ball fell
to on loan defender John Dempster, and he delicately chipped the helpless York keeper to give Droylsden a hard earned point.

Lee Sweetman signs new contract with Droylsden.

Lee Sweetman yesterday signed an £120 p/w 5 year contract with Droylsden, Lee said that the team budget has now gone up to 11.25K, and also Lee has been given a transfer fund of 80K by chairman Dave Pace.

With the season nearly over (I think there is only 4 games left!) I will finish this season and next season I will do a much more detailed review game by game.

Lee Sweetman on his way out?

After just signing a new Contract with Droylsden speculation about Lee Sweetman's future have been raised today after a training ground bust up with Chairman Dave Pace.

The pair were seen arguning about team selection, and then Lee Sweetman stormed off.

Could this be the End of Lee Sweetman's Droylsden FC managerial career?

I Might be getting FM08 on Tuesday for ?10, so if this does turn out, I will get the players I have currently signed on FM06, and Using the editor, Transfer them to Droylsden on FM08, and continue where I left of.
