Asif, who faces a possible two-year ban, and his lawyer have questioned the discrepancy in the readings of the two samples. The second sample had a nandrolone concentration of 5.4 nanograms per millilitre of urine while the first had 6.2 nanograms. "We have just completed the test on Asif's B sample and it has come back positive," Asif's lawyer Shahid Karim told AFP. "But I can tell you that the quantity of nandrolone has varied, which we can contest. We hope to further this case once we get an official test report from the IPL." According to WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) regulations, upto two nanograms per millilitre is permissible.

Well I never knew that WADA has set its own criteria.
I have got Athlete_Guide but it has not updated since 2006.
If WADA made a rule that only up to two nanogram is permissible then Asif would easily escape from this scenario.

Well As I told it is the figure which people use in Clinical Practice.
And It can vary depending up on Subject just like WADA has its own limit.
WADA has most of its laboratories in USA,UK and Australia.I think they might be more sophisticated then laboratories found in Russia and Ukraine.
I am not working for WADA or I have never done Clinical practice in UK or US so honestly I never knew about this 2 nenogram theory.
Actually even in Sub continent Doctors don't know How to carried out this test as there are no modern laboratories which can measure exact urine concentration of Androgens.(I did not mean From Plasma or Serum but they are not as accurate as Urine sample).
