More Key Features

Good news:thumbs. But Chief, will they rotate in between the game? if so, please add more commentators like Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Robin Jackman. And especially please make a nice script. the script was there in AC09 was boring.

Mark Nicholas, David ?Bumble? Lloyd, Michael Slater! This is good news!!! Hopefully we have a few catch phrases (Start the car!). Personally I think that Mark Nicholas has been the best commentator in a cricket game (Cricket 07), followed by the late Tony Greig. Their commentary in the games sounded genuine and unforced which added to the authenticity.

I'm very excited by the commentary team. All excellent chaps, and incredible to work with: all able to rewrite script into their own words without a moments hesitation and brilliant advisors too. Very privileged to have all 3 on board. :D

This is good to hear Chief, it is hard to provide your own unforced voice overs from a script which has not been written by you the voice actor. Glad that they are putting their own spin on it.

Very excited about this game. Can't wait for more news! :)

Which means the screenshot you posted was misleading? It doesn't stop with this company! :mad

360 degree control over placement with analog power! now we're talkin' baby! :thumbs

Great to hear the features!
But no sign of any screenshots or trailer yet?! :(

It didn't come out in PC.

It didn't  You were lucky coz to me it was patches AC09 with FPS view as a batsman :( Same cr@ppy default field positions, same lousy fielding and nearly the same AI.

I did try it out at a local gaming centre. But didn't play for more than half an hour. That says it all.

At least we won't have Aggers saying "amazing fielding" as the ball is hit along the ground to a fielder!!:facepalm

This has now been officially revealed:

MARK NICHOLAS, DAVID LLOYD AND MICHAEL SLATER THE FIRST COMMENTATORS CONFIRMED FOR ASHES CRICKET 2013

Ex-professionals bring over 30 years of experience to in game commentary

Milton Keynes, UK ? March 28, 2013 ? 505 Games today announced the first three commentators to feature in the official ASHES CRICKET 2013 video game this summer. Lead commentator for Channel 5 in the UK and Australia?s Channel 9, Mark Nicholas, will be joined by ex-England head coach and Sky Sports pundit, David Lloyd and ex-Australian international and Channel 9 commentator Michael Slater.

Mark Nicholas acts as the lead commentator of the three. Although being an Englishman by birth, and playing for Hampshire for over 17 years, he has since made his name as a television presenter. Nicholas is the anchor of Channel 5 cricket coverage in the UK and also anchor of Channel 9 coverage during the Australian summer cricket season.

David Lloyd, affectionately known as Bumble, brings a wealth of experience and good humour to the game that cricket fans have come to expect from his dulcet tones. Famous for his array of catchphrases, such as ?This pitch is as flat as a dodo? and "England have nothing to lose here, apart from this Test match", Bumble was England coach during the 1997 Ashes series before becoming a Sky Sports commentator in 1999.

Finally, ex-Australian international, Michael Slater completes the commentating line up. Known as 'Slats' in the commentary box, he has been commentating on Channel 9 for seven years. Slater played in four Ashes series, scoring 1669 runs including a remarkable seven hundreds. He played 74 Tests for Australia between1993 ? 2001.

?Whether listening on the radio or watching on TV, commentary is a key part to the overall experience,? commented Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games. ?It was therefore important we faithfully replicated this in ASHES CRICKET 2013 and with Bumble, Nicholas and Slater we have three of the finest and most loved commentators in the game today.?

The key phrase there might be "first three".
