Nah, I don't see India beating the Sri Lankans. I just couldn't picture India getting into the final from the get go. I'm not overally supprised they got knocked off by Bangladesh. I can see allot of supporters in India going crazy about Tendulkar not getting the perfect WC send-off if India get knocked off in the group stages

Tendulkar is the same age as Jayasuriya was in 2003...not sure if it's going to be his last world cup.

Definitely not if we believe in Tendulkar's words. he says he will go up to 2011 if his body allows him to! i think he will go up till there! he will be 38 by then!

I actually hope so to or at least make it into the semis to prove the skeptics wrong i.e Holding and Ponting prior to the tournament. If it did occur than it will only do good for the game of cricket and especially for the minnows. (assuming Ireland qualify).

It would be a dream come true. The shame is that most of the Irish cricketers are not native. The one thing I like about Bangladesh is that all their cricketers are essentially home-grown.

it's the most exciting and, in my opinion, best World Cup ever.

You can't tell this yet...we haven't even got to the super eights and some sides haven't even played their second games.

Also, I read the first post hahaha, just someone annoyed that Pakistan are out and taking it out on the supporters of the teams still left in the WC.

I think 2003 World Cup was better than this one.This WC is crap.Champions Trophy in India was better than this one.

They were in the WC Final the last time round and they done anything overally special or had anything inspirational of sorts go their way.
And oh yeah, hope India do make it through the group stages only to see them faulter to us.
