Awesome! I'm up for that I want to see how Clifford Roach performs carrying the burden of West Indies batting!

I was mistaken it’s the 28 teams not 23 - 23 wasn’t a test tour.

Just played with them, can see a link to video in the livestream thread. Put the sepia filter on and removed all the hud... was a lot of fun. I’ll definitely look at playing out the 3 match series, if I can get to grips with the stadium creator and make some old time stadiums

Led by Clive Lloyd, this is a mixture of legends and Rebels. Loads of all rounders to choose from and great fast bowlers included are Andy Roberts, Colin Croft and Sylvester Clarke.

Viv, Greenidge, Garner, Holding and Marshall will be in the 80s.

Special Thanks to Llewelynf for the uniforms and logos, Wasteryouryouth and too many others to mention for their inspiration.

I noticed the stadium creation allows for really worn and dry looking outfields. From memory of clips I’ve seen the “grovel” series was in a hot summer with similar surfaces so I’ll have to make that England team and play that series!

Also really looking forward to recreating 1984 when the 80s team is done. Maybe Andy Lloyd will last a bit longer!

They look great in game, particularly with a wide wicket size.

Great players everywhere. Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes, King Vivian Richards, Richie Richardson, Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall, and "Whispering Death" Michael Holding. These legends of the game are backed up by a great supporting cast, led by middle order linchpin, Larry Gomes and including great fielders such as acrobatic wicket keeper Jeff Dujon, tall off spinner Roger Harper and the diminutive Gus Logie.

Thanks to Llewellyn7 for the uniforms and logo, and Wasteryouryouth for the inspiration and blockerdave, gleeso, spoobir, pinku and too many others to mention.

I am looking forward to trying off spinner Rangy Nanan as he was the most successful bowlers in regional cricket at the time but was overlooked.

The last embers of the West Indian cricketing dynasty. Led by 3 All Time Greats, genius left handed batsman Brian Lara, and one of the greatest bowling partnerships of all time, Courtney Walsh and Curtley Ambrose. This squad has talented "wouldacouldashouldas" and "whatmighthavebeens"

There is back up to the three legends though in tough left hander, Jimmy Adams, Ian Bishop who but for injury would surely have contributed even more. Imagine, Walsh, Ambrose and Bishop more regularly? There is the immensely talented but frustrating Carl Hooper, pacers Kenny and Winston Benjamin, underrated Cameron Cuffy, the dashing inconsistent Phil Simmons and the flamboyant ill disciplined paceman Franklyn Rose who surely should have got his act together.

Plenty to use if needed as there is a squad of 26 players here.

My Shiv Chanderpaul is saved for the 2000s squad because the Lord knows they need him!

Uploaded the West Indies 1960-61 Test Playing Squad.

Led by Sir Frank Worrell, this side lost the series 2-1 to Australia but has gone down in folklore as one of the most exciting cricket sides to ever take the field and played of course in the first famous tied test.

14 players to choose from. Wes Hall will carry the burden of the pace attack back up by medium fast bowlers Worrell and Sobers.

The batting is deep with Hunte, Worrell, Sobers, Kanhai and Nurse and an excellent keeper in Gerry Alexander. There might be a weakness at the top of the order with the aggressive Cammie Smith or do you choose the less exciting Peter Lashley or even Joe Solomon to open? Good spinning options in Alf Valentine, Lance Gibbs and Sonny Ramadhin.

Another team led by Sir Frank Worrell, this side trounced England 3-1 in the summer of 1963 in England. This is the second of three great West Indies touring teams in the 60's. Less players used than in 60-61 but arguably greater still. It is when Charlie Griffith made his name as the second of two warheads the other being Wes Hall, deployed against English batsmen in 1963.

This team has Sir Frank batting 7th! opener Joey Carew joins Conrad Hunte at the top of the order, followed by Garry Sobers and Rohan Kanhai, Deryck Murray began his own legend as wicket keeper and Basil Butcher solidified the middle order. Seymour Nurse did not get selected to play that's how strong this lineup is perfectly balanced, ready to dominate. I would pitch this side against any in any era.

This time Garfield Sobers leads the team with Worrell retired. Similar to the '63 team but Seymour Nurse is now in a formidable line up with Rohan Kanhai, Basil Butcher and Gary Sobers. This is all 4 of these players at their peak. Still trouble at the top of the order with no consistent partner for Conrad Hunte. This time Easton McMorris gets the nod, though Peter Lashley shared that spot with him in the tests. David Holford, Clive Lloyd's cousin is an allrounder at number 7.

Finally Jackie Hendricks another excellent keeper gets his chance battling with David Allan who is in reserve. The front-line bowling remains the same with Wes Hall and Charlie Griffith backed up with Garry Sobers all around brilliance and the guile of Lance Gibbs.

Not as classy as Sir Franks side in '63, this team still duplicated the result from the previous tour with a 3-1 victory. After this tour the side would travel to India and win 2-0. That would signal the end of a brilliant era of which this side represents the last of the great sides of the 60's.

So the era of the 60's is over. Rohan Kanhai a holdover from that generation led this team to England to win a three match test series against England, which was won 2-0.

There is a fine exciting opener in Roy Fredricks, but the same problem persists at the top of the order with Ron Headley, son of the great George and father of future England bowler Dean, taking his chance.

The batting still has Kanhai but there is now Alvin Kallicharran, Clive Lloyd and former captain Garry Sobers, like Kanhai in the autumn of his career. In reserve is the talented Maurice Foster who never did quite make it at the top level.

Deryck Murray now has the gloves and will keep them for the rest of the decade. There are two good all rounders in Keith Boyce and Bernard Julien. Vanburn Holder is the fast medium spearhead. Lance Gibbs is still the main spin threat and Inshan Ali is the spinner in reserve with his chinamen.

This side may be interesting to use as the team was growing but there was no battering ram pacemen (they would come). This team was the genesis of the soon to be crowned World Cup champions of 1975.

Clive Lloyd had molded a machine after being chastened by defeat to the Aussies, and after testing his new weapons and collecting broken bones against India, he unleashed his weaponry on Tony Grieg's hapless England. (again England). Greig had promised to make the West Indies grovel, there was no chance. West Indies won the 5 Test series 3-0

Before Haynes and Greenidge there was Roy Fredricks and Gordon Greenidge at the top of the order. Then the master blaster Viv Richards, followed by a phalanx of armed guards, Alvin Kallicharran, Lloyd himself and Lawrence Rowe, with Larry Gomes in reserve. Collis King and Bernard Julien were the all-rounders.

Then the deadly fast bowling trio of Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, and Wayne Daniel backed up by Vanburn Holder terrorised the English batsmen. Deryck Murray was solid as ever behind the stumps. Future rebel Albert Padmore, and fellow spinner Raph Jumadeen proved the West Indian pace battery was not yet 100% and would need just a bit more tuning to become truly Fearsome.

This team is an All Time Great Team and was Michael Holding's coming out party. He and Roberts took 28 wickets each in the Tests, and Richards scored over 800 runs at an average of over 100 to cement his status as the greatest batsman in the world at the time.
