IPL Mumbai Indians-2014

Rayudu just got 1 or 2 games in his favourite spot. You cant expect him to score plenty of the last few balls.Justice is missing here.Playing Sachin is an added advantage to the opposition both while batting and bowling.Speak what i dont care,a 40 year old Sachin is not the same 16 year old Sachin, dont expect him to do miracles.I would prefer the under rated Rayudu anyday espically in a big game.See the game by leaving behind the favouriteism.

I have rarely looked at Tendulakr as a big match player. In fact, most of the people in MI are not big match players. Even Pollard, with a slight exception in today's game.
I'd have preferred to accommodate Ponting in the side somehow, knowing how aggressive the Aussies get in Final matches.

Good to see someone raise that point.Ponting has been in many finals and almost everything was succesful.People just cant accept anything said about Tendulkar.Dont get me wrong,i dont need to compliment him,the world knows it but still he is not a big match player.03 WC,11 WC,many other finals,he has done it a few times but just cant hold his nerve.Anyway Rayudu played well today.MI closing in on a much deserved win here.

Ohh, something terribly wrong there. You need to get a hold of the stats boy! He IS a big match player, he's always been. He has failed at times, but he averages above his general average in finals, go have a look.

With Tendulkar out of the IPL, expect the teams to be re-shuffled completely. I honestly think frachisee agreements should have been entered into for a period of 5 years only.

Dont want to reply to blind followers here. The biggest thing is World Cup and yes i witnessed all the WC Finals that India played after Sachin made his debut. :facepalm

Squads are updated. :))
*2014.
Check it out!

Mumbai doesn't look as strong as they were last season but got a fairly good side. The major concern is the lack of foreign players who could perform.Pollard,Mallinga,Micheal Hussey and Corey Anderson will obviously be the 4 players, but we hasn't got a good replacement in case on is injured, which was expressed by many persons.Mallinga could be replaced by Hazlewood,Ben Dunk for Hussey but there is no good person who could replace Pollard or Anderson.:(

----------

There are lot of positives as well. It would be great watching Mallinga and Zaheer bowling together and Harbhajan and Ojha could form a good spin pair as well.
Hussey to open would make sure that the top order is secure,Pollard,Rohit and Anderson could do all big hits. If Rayudu could perform well,The middle order is all sure. There is no big concern for the one behind the wicket as well,It could be Tare or C M Gautam or even Ambati Rayudu could do it.So the squad is fairly balanced.

may be at first, Mumbai not see strong team compare to KingXI, RCB or CSK... but they get key players like Corey and Hussey in there line-up... They are Defending Champions, and i hope they will play good cricket in this season too...
