Ashraful is on fire ladies and jentleman he is crushing the top quality bowling of England

Holy ****!! Ashraful just hit a 50 off 21 balls!! What an amazing inning so far. I'm watching those 6's and 4's and TV and their are just magnificent.

Wonderful start by Tremlett. He was Very, very, very, very unlucky not to have got rid of Ashraful-the ball just falling on the bails and bouncing off, nothing disturbed- and that has proved costly. An amazing innings, and he is only 20...give him 5 years and watch what happens. Without suprise this has prompted Giles to come into the attack early. 106/2 off 17 overs now, and although they will not win, it will still be a cracker.

Yeah whatever... you guys are so smart at this... just looking for a lil mistake to crack on somebody. Right?
Well my first crack was on the Indian bowlers, and the url, yea, that was a bit sad...

Giles restoring order now. 15 overs are up now so if Ashraful tries to hit now chances are he won't stay long. But, if he continues to find fours even now then Bangladesh certainly have found an international class cricketer.

4 overs for 24 for Giles and the run rate is just under 6. 250 is on the cards...
Ashraful: 81(45 balls,9*4, 3*6)
Superb :clap

Aww....he's out :( A 'Strauss' too many aye? Well, wonderful none the less...my Man Of the Match!

201/7...Bangladesh have lost:(

Isn't it a great thing to see? A match Australia is in and they aren't the favorites to win :)

they are also last in the points table.

Collingwood produces the best ever all round figures in ODI history beating Sir Viv Richards 119 and 5-25 (iirc), with a 112* off of 86 balls and 6-31.

Well done Collingwood and Tremlett he looks better than Lewis.

Also Strauss had me in fits with his dabbles over the top of the keeper.

Time to Rise and Shine

After a long time, England will start as favorites for the next Natwest Series match against arch rivals Australia on 23rd June. England have never looked this convincing in any Natwest Trophy to date. They have decimated Bangladesh twice and defeated Australia in a style that would have reminded the Aussies of themselves. Australians who started as the favorites now find themselves at the bottom of the points table and still trying to recover from their last week's nightmare.

R. Ponting has suggested that he has his hand on the panic button and just to add an extra edge to the last week's drama, coach J. Buchanan has refused to panic! When the captain says one thing and coach says the opposite, that itself portrays the situation of the Australian team. And then, just to compound the situation, Symonds got into disciplinary troubles and Brett Lee injured his shoulder. When things start going wrong, almost everything you can think goes wrong.

Australian batting has been good if not exceptional. Hayden, Ponting, Martyn, and Hussey have scored runs. Only men of concern in batting department seem to be Gilchrist and Clarke. Australian bowling is a cause of worry though. Only McGrath and to an extent Hogg seem to have discovered their rhythm in the matches played so far. Gillespie has been struggling with both pace and movement. The characteristic "bite" in his bowling is not visible. Kasprowicz too has been disappointing and has been dealt with rather harshly. Watson is a no show and one wonders his place in a team that has abundance of talent down under. Australia will take drastic measures and bring in Lee and Symonds to replace Gillespie and Watson.

England on the other hand is riding on a crest at the moment. Just seems like England have Australia have switched places this time around. The batting has been fearsome, the bowling immaculate and Collingwood's catch in 3rd game certifies there improved fielding. However, the English team should not get carried away. Australian team maybe just too rusty or plain too overconfident but they have the ability to bounce back. Nothing has changed really in this Australian outfit as far as the players are concerned. They are the same bunch of cricketers that have been winning almost everything until last week. The lpreliminary phase in this series means nothing here. In the sense, nobody expects Bangladesh to make it to the finals. Invariably, Australia and England will slug it out in Natwest Final. England should strive for consistency. If England win on Thursday then it will be their first step towards achieving it.
