New Zealand Sri Lanka Twenty20 Series in USA

Oh God NZ, I think they're going to get out for record low total. Along with killing cricket in US they'll be killing some of it in NZ too xD

Yeah it is a disaster, they'll have to more than make up for this next year if there is a next year where teams come to U.S. I don't know how the failure of this series would affect the chances of that.

They need to bring powerhouses imo and make it at least a 3-5 T20 Series with some under lights. Bring Australia and India. At least if the collapses would happen it would happen in front of a houseful crowd.

...awkward silence after comment about kissing balls...

Hopefully its still on for next year. I would bring the Windies for sure, always an exciting brand of cricket.

ORAM.

Please him and Nathan need to get Kiwis past 100 now. Btw, good to see Nathan bat sensibly and better than his bro.

God this sucks ass. I really hope Sri Lankans hit some home runs. Only 2 sixes yesterday and should be at least 1 today ;__;

At least Mahela seems to be playing fluently. A six already too.

Chase it in 8 overs!

Dammit, now he's out. This has been a tour to forget for everyone involved.

Lets get Jayasuriya in. Hopefully he can hit some big shots and spark Florida up a bit.

Parera's doin' work out there. Absolutely going to town on Southee, at least in the circumstances of this match.

Why do they keep going to these random shots - a girl flipping through a book and now a kid eating a hot dog.

Great catch from Nicol on the boundary.

I had a lol when I came downstairs at 6 and saw Sri Lanka: 41/1, 41 runs needed.

I wouldn't say that it's because we're a crap team though. The pitch is better than the last game yes, but the Sri Lankan bowlers bowled very well and Kulasekara basically did a Styris.

We are missing good players and our batting lineup looked thin before the game started. No Ryder, Guptill and Styris weakens our batting greatly, and our bowling isn't the best now that Bond's retired.

That said, it was a very poor effort on our behalf. At least NZ is trying to help here by bring these teams over...

New Zealand's top order was average, and thats being kind. The ball was moving around early on but none of the batsmen that got out early got forward at all, it was quite embarrassing really (especially from someone like Brendon McCullum who wants to bat at three in test cricket).

Lol worthy that Nathan McCullum came in ahead of Jacob Oram though, he's really fallen down the pecking order it seems. He shouldn't even be in the team if he isn't batting in the top seven.

Yes, this 20/20 series is going to determine if cricket takes off in America :sarcasm

It's just that New Zealand are a crap team. Honestly, even Pakistan would be guaranteed to do better than this.

Yeah, but they can't field. Hardly a good selling point for cricket if a team is struggling to do the most basic thing right.

Bring Australia and South Africa, that may work.

You do realise New Zealand cricket has a partnership with American cricket ay? They've done a lot of work with both their senior and junior teams, as well as held coaching clinics for coaches all around the country. Unlike some of the said countries New Zealand isn't just trying to use America to make a quick buck.

Yeah and they've done a fantastic job but next time hopefully they'd prepare a decent wicket.

Wow, there are some complete tards here!

The pitch is normal, it's had alot of work on it since yesterday.
You obviously know nothing about cricket pitches, if you think a pitch can go from pathetic to normal overnight, you're either joking, or as I said before.
