Haddin whacks another 4 in his handy innings of 38 off 38.

Katich hits one down the ground on his way to his great innings of 88 off 114.

Franklin celebrates after getting the early wicket of Clarke and had NSW pinned down.

Bond shows his pleasure when he got Lee which secured the game

For the title of Fans with cameras i made somehting with a clipart pic in word but when i try to load it on anything it doesn't work because its saved as a doc, i cant save it as anything that will work, any help?
Maybe i can make one in photoshop but what size would be good?

Im gonna play the NZ vs Aus game later today so updates maybe tonight or tomorrow :happy:

Hello and Welcome to the opening match of the tri series between Australia, England and Australia. I am Mark Nicholas and will have the pleasure of bringing this game to you with the 9 commentary team.
Today we have Australia and New Zealand going head to head at The Gabba.
It should be a cracker. Slats what do you think?

Yes Mark spot on this is going to be a cracker. Both teams will be pumped today as rivalry is upon us. The two teams were out on the field along time before the game warming up ready to go.

The pitch is looking great on this Sunny day. The pitch looks like the bounce will be quite good and the wear of this pitch is good. The light is excellent. The sun is out. The weather is awesome, im ready for a great day of cricket Back to you Mark

Australia vs New Zealand​

First Innings​

Hello and welcome back to the Gabba on this superb sunny day! Im here to bring you the first Innings summary.
The two captains Ponting and Fleming took the field for the toss which Ricky Ponting won, this made the fans happy. Surprisingly he elected to bowl which caused some spark between the fans.
So the Australian players took the field ready for the start of the match

Then the New Zealand 2 opening batsmen, Marshall and Fleming strolled out to the crease.

It started off not so good when Marshall went when the score was 8. Fleming and Fulton were looking good until the steady 27 run partnership broke when Fleming went for 15.
Astle strolled to the crease but wasn't there for a long stay and went for just 1 which had NZ 3-38 and in trouble. Fulton and styris had a little cameo until Fulton went for a well played innings of 27.
Styris and McCullum had a good little partnership going until Styris went for just 6 and the score was 5-80.
But welcome to the stage the saviours of the New Zealand innings Oram and McCullum! These 2 had a big job in front of them but played awesomely for a 66 run partnership to get NZ out of trouble and move the score to 6-146 after McCullum went for 52 off 77.
This next partnership was even better than the last as Oram and Vettori managed to get NZ to a decent total of 6-217 with an unbeaten partnership of 71. Oram played an awesome innings of 70 off 90 to get back into form and Vettori with 33 off 33 both not out.

The Australian bowlers were all very good and on their game except for one of the worlds best pacemen Glenn McGrath who finished with figures of 10 overs, 0 maidens, 0-57. Gillespie was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets but Warne and Watson both kept it economical picking up 1 wicket each and both keeping the RpO below 4.


Well there you have it Australia managing to restrict New Zealand to 6-217 off 50 overs! Join us later as i will bring you the second innings wrap up!

Australia win!​

Hello and Welcome back to the Gabba i hope you enjoyed our first innings coverage and i look forward to bringing you the action from the second innings!
Australia got off to a steady start but very slow and the run rate started to rise to about 5. But then Bond clean bowled Hayden for 15. Then in the same over Bond clean bowled Hussey for a snail like 9 off 30!

Jaques joined Ponting at the crease and together they put on a 50 run partnership to get the score from 2-27 to 2-77 until the big wicket of ponting was scalped by tuffey when he trapped him in front.

Jaques and Clarke were out their together for 19 runs until Jaques went for a well played 34. Vettori got his wicket and Australia were 4-96

But Clarke and Watson sailed Australia in the right direction with a a partnership just like McCullums and Orams early in the day except faster! Pup was causing the Kiwi bowlers some troubles until he got out just 2 short of his 50 from 45 balls thanks to Bond quick reactions to secure the caught and bowled.

Gilchrist came to the crease at 7 which was a surpirse and finsihed not out 22 off 25 whilst Watson finished the game with a boundray just 4 balls before the maxium 50 overs were up. He finished 59 off 77.

Only 4 of the New Zealand bowlers bowled their maxium ten overs wilst Oram bowled 6.2 and Styris 3.

Franklin contuined his goog economical bowling form with 10 overs 2 maidens 0 wickets for 27 runs. Bond picked up 3 vital wickets and Tuffey and Vettori picked up one each.

Styris got hit for 23 off his 3 overs and Oram 35 off 6.2 overs.

Well there you have it! Australia win by 5 wickets in the last over of the match! Man of the match went to Watson who won the game for Australia with a great bowling and abtting proformance!
