Pidgeon gets his bunny! Some good bowling from England despite a fantastic double hundred from Martyn. Unfortunately, there wont be any time for either side to win the game.

Great work Lee.

Keep up the neat pres.

Fourth Ashes test match heading for a draw

Andrew Strauss scored 60 off 100 balls to help avoid a batting collapse

England began the fifth and final day of the fourth Ashes test match against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 20/1, 104 runs ahead with Andrew Strauss on 2 not out and Paul Collingwood on 17 not out.

Early on in the day, Matthew Hayden took an excellent catch to get out Paul Collingwood off the bowling of Glenn McGrath for 18 and make the score 21/2.

Kevin Pietersen had clearly been given a license to slog but it backfired when Justin Langer caught him out in the deep after an awful shot off the bowling of Jason Gillespie for just 1. England were then 34/3.

Andrew Strauss and Ian Bell played well to put on a respectable partnership of 89 before Strauss was out Leg Before Wicket off the bowling of Gillespie for a well made 60 off 100 balls. England were then 113/4.

Bell batted through until the lunch break with Andrew Flintoff to reach 31 not out, with Flintoff on 6 not out.

Day 5 Lunch Summary

England 1st innings: 571/6 declared (Bell 214)
Australia 1st innings: 487 all out (Martyn 207)
