Next Codemasters game - Ashes Cricket 2009

Great to hear there will be T20 tie breakers, Different batsman animations according to batsman, Seldging, Realistic Cameras, Referral system, New Gameplay, Online mode etc and many more. I am definately going to buy this game.

You mistake the content of the preview. Out of those features, only the camera angles, altered gameplay and online play will be in this game.

I just had a thought - what if the score was 2/7 because they needed Ponting to be in the game in the background? They probably should have just made him opening batsman but it could make sense if this is what they did. I'm an optimist!

I wouldn't worry too much about this 2/7 score. It'll obviously be in the Australian format, hence actually 7/2. Not exactly a good start obviously, but not of 2/7 proportions.

Looked Human vs AI to me, at one point you can seem them flicking through some options when the game wasw paused

The Release date for the game is July 1st as of right now. I am not sure if it will change but that is the date given at IGN.

@Coolz Hari - Let me tell you something to solve all your BANNED problems. Download firefox if you don't have it. Then, go here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2464 and download the plugin of foxyproxy. After it is done, it will ask you to restart firefox. When firefox restarts, go to "tools" at the top and go down to "foxyproxy" and then "options".
A window will pop up and on the right side, it will say "add new proxy". Click on that and After "proxy name" type any name you want to give to your proxy. Don't need to fill description, just fill in only what i tell you to. then click on "proxy details" tab at the top and after "host or ip address" enter ip address you have from here: Go to google and search in "(yourcountry) https proxy". If your country has the site blocked, then use any other country's ip address and port. It will work. For now, I will give you USA's. for the ip, type in 128.223.8.113 and for the port, type in 3127 and then click "ok". After this, this window will close and the one opened previously will still be open. Click on "global settings" tab at the top and at the bottom right hand there is a section called "statusbar activation". Under that chose "cycle through modes" for the first two options and for the last one, chose show options dialog. then close the window. Now, at the bottom right hand corner you will see something that says "FoxyProxy: (maybe "default" or name of your proxy)" Click on that until your proxy's name shows up after the "FoxyProxy" and then you are on proxy. You can go on any site.

And you are done! Phheewww! Hope this helps.

I strongly believe it is Human Vs AI
i posted these reasons before

actually to be honest it looks like it is a human player against the AI not AI vs AI demo mode when you dont press start eraly enough. My reason for this is.

A. You dont actually get to see what delivery the bowler is choosing.
B. The shot selection is really bad.
C. You can see the radar and you can see the aiming thing in the radar moving around which you dont see in the demo mode in BLIC games
D. The score is bad which also indicates a person who doesnt know what they are doing playing.
E. They press the start menu. view the scorecard and are offered a powerplay.

There are more which i forgot, but this DOES look like Noob Human verse AI.

plus the 3 weird pull shots are the Human trying to pull a full ball, one hits him, and two he tries to hit in front of square but are edge to 3rd man,
also just before the question about the rugby players it looks like they are about to run themselves out. so it looks very promising still for me. The fields also look good, during the powerplay it is good and doesnt have 5 ppl around the bat. and obviously because it is such a short match the poerplay must end over the cause of the interview and they have 5 people outside the circle which is amazing in a codies game.

I believe it is Noob vs AI.
