after playing BLIC i can say they dont i had a brilliant spell with anderson getting 3 wickets the batsman then play played sensibly for an over and they started smacking me around the next over. It wont be that easy.kevmead said:I use autoplay in C2K4 (sometimes) to allow the CPU to score a reasonable total, once you have got used to bowling to the CPU it is too easy to bowl the side out for stupidly low totals as the AI almost always makes the same mistakes. I think not having an Autoplay function is a big mistake.
lazy_chesnut said:No. People who autoplay are sad.
The only reason people don't want to bowl is if either the bowling controls are poo, or if they are childish and only like batting. I bet you're like that when/if you play real cricket. I've know people cry at if they don't get to bat first in the playground. Not that I go anywhere these days where there are playgrounds. That sort of thing is frowned upon these days.

As for autoplay, I'm glad it's not in the game. For goodness sake, just save your progress. If you want to play a full game and don't have much time, then restrict yourself to a Twenty20 match. IMO, you don't deserve to play a Test Match, or even a one-dayer for that matter, if you choose not to bowl and simply "generate" an innings from the CPU.
Traditionally, this game known as cricket is supposed to take a long time...we're not playing rock-paper-scissors here!

And if you are playing test matches, then use the Save feature.....you can't finish a test match in one sitting....
saisrini80 I feel Autoplay is a waste of a feature in Cricket 2004.[/QUOTE said:Oh boy,Looking forward for you grades This summer Saisrin.
