That is a lot of B.S. The game released and owned by Codies. It is sad that Transmissions got out of business but it was the respnosibility of Codemasters to hire someone else to finish the patch. They own the rights to the game not Transmission.

The complexity of the rights are probably way beyond what you (or I) can comprehend. It won't be simple.

Doesn't make much business sense to give another company a budget to release a patch. It's a shame that a patch won't be released, but Codies don't have a "responsibility" to release the patch.

of course they do they gave us a buggy game which is unplayable you are writing some comments that realy amaze me why are you so defensive for them they are awfu gaming company who told us a patch was coming and now we are getting nothing just be honest. Wasted money for crap and I couldn't even try the beta. Never to trust new developers! Rather go for a pirated version of teh game than buying it.

It shows how popular cricket is ppl upset because they love the game but get let down by a below par game. I can understand totaly & if there any Gaming Companies reading this thread look at the $$$$$ you could make not only make a cool game but u need to support the game eg: patches, update players (every 6 months) create new stadiums etc u could go on forever

when u buy a shooter game there always updating & supporting there community because they need them for the next game, I just dont understand codies & there support for any of there games really is poor

I honestly thought this PC would act like a pressure group who would push developers of cricket games to produce, more efficient, more effective cricket games!!! Didn’t expect the administration of the forum to end up in the back pocket of some BS selling greedy developer. I really don’t get why they hate EA so much and love codies like they are gods. For me both are the same… and don’t tell me codis did gave us a beta patch because they didn’t. they didn’t want to give us anything, it was transmission who did something good!!! I don’t trust PC anymore. I don’t think its in the side of PC cricket game lovers !!!

There is an obvious bias for Codemasters on PC, just take anything you read from the mods/PC play testers with a grain of salt. I know I will be after those greatly exaggerated play test reviews.

To be fair, I think the official PC review for AC09 was 6/10 or something similar.

The patched version of Ashes was a far superior experience because of this. Fate has worked against that but I for one still remember how everyone was praising all and sundry because of it. It is a shame no doubt about it but it is useless, pointless insulting people; and I agree that whatever happens I will be buying the next cricket game, wherever, by whomever for whatever: such are human beings, and I am one of them. Many pretend to know how things have gone and how it should have happened and bla, bla, bla. As Socrates said: "I am the wisest: for everyone thinks they know the answers. I know I don't. That makes me wiser!"

Well I don't have beta patch 1. I have stream version. I can't play this game like this. I get the opposition out in less than 7 overs having 2 runouts in every over. I almost forgot that catch, lbw, and bowled exists in this game.
