New Zealand Cricket Board announce a new revised schedule for the year 2011. The season begins with a group stage single round robin T20 HRV Cup. All the 6 teams will be divided into 2 groups, with each group consisting 3 teams. Each team will play other teams of their group once and the top 2 teams qualify for the Semi Finals and the winner of both Semi Finals in Finals. The Winner of Finals will qualify for Champions League T20.

The ODI league will have no groups and it will be a double Round Robin format. Each team plays other 5 teams twice once home and second time away.
