What do you guys want for the overseas? Draft or auction. If it's an auction then I hope the rules won't be violated as they were done in the local auction. Please state in the thread.

Rules were violated in the Aussie pools Tarun was over budget twice. Prats, Varun were over budget at one point. NZ auction went great. No one broke the rule even once.

"Broke the rules" - you make it sound so serious. I went over budget at one point because I made a mistake. We don't go out of our way to do it, so I'd go with another auction. It's certainly a more interesting way of procuring a squad.

Well, one can't be online all the time and with Aussie squads having much better locals than NZ ones (we are lucky to have best of NZ players though) making the role of overseas players very crucial I prefer to have the players auctioned.

I always prefer an auction over a draft. But, the league manager shouldn't have much of a problem with it as auctions need to be managed in a better way as compared to the drafts.

So that is six managers for the auction (I had vmed Cal, Iri and Ben) Alright I had made a few mistakes in the auction too. I didn't want to sound serious but indirecty I was telling the managers to by try being more careful. Even I will be more careful -thing is I had not access to the PC much in the last couple of days. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Also the drafting of the remaining locals will be conducted simultaniously with the International auction. More details shall be out after Sydney & Adelaide finish their auction campign.

OPL Locals Draft

Special thanks to Callum for the pointers​

* Draft begins tomorrow at 9:00 AM GMT or 2:30 PM IST

* Please make sure you read what players you need to pick in each round.

* You must wait until the round before is finished until the next round starts, unless it's been 24 hours the round started. If you are the last to pick in one round you can immediately start the next round off.

* If you have not picked within 24 hours you will forfeit your pick, and the next round of drafting will resume as normal. In short the duration of each round is 24 hours.

* If you know you will not be coming online for a period of time, you can send me a PM with what sort of players you are looking for, and I will make your pick for you.

* There won't be any player list. If you want any guidance you can check the APL/NZPL thread about the locals. You can also check the list of unauctioned players.

* Please use Ctrl+F to check whether the player has already been picked earlier. Check it both in the index as well as in the draft list.

* Please post the draft picks in the code. You can omit the code in the first round if there is a lot of rush though.

* It's your responsibility to make your pick, so keep on checking the thread. Don't rely on me to update the title, or send you a VM.

* Squads will be updated after every round.​
