Another loss. Gem of a knock from KP there. I'm not disappointed anymore. This happens so regularly that I'm used to it.

Rosco again! The bowling apart from Southee's super economical spell was pretty average. We had to overcome a slow and pretty poor start to chase that down but Taylor and Mathews came though for us. Into the playoffs again after looking down and tout early on in the comp.

I doubt I have seem such a fightback in any league before. Last till round 6 and third after round 9.

Your side improved this season.

9 matches, 4 wins, 5 losses and being placed eight on the table isn't a record to be so proud of as we're capable of winning more often than that but some players such as Starc, Roach, Hodge and Hamish Marshall have underperformed on a regular basis which has affected the overall team performance. Some guys like Gayle, Gilly, Malinga and Hafeez were playing very well but we didn't perform collectively as a proper team should. Anyway, goodbye to our captain Adam Gilchrist who got some runs under his belt this farewell season of his and remained good behind the stumps as usual. We'll find it quite hard to replace a legend like him.

Epic finish although it sucks to be on the wrong end.
Great anticipation by Marsh as he picked Clint's trademark back-of-the-hand slower ball to send it sailing over the sight screen to mark the end of a rather long season for us.

At least,it was a happy ending as the players were screaming in joy like maniacs heading to the airport to go home.

Oh, a close, tense victory to end the season! Bowling wasn't solid as it was anticipated but batting perfectly counterbalanced for it. Pietersen played a fabulous, graceful and fashionable innings to end our season in some style. RTD and Chanderpaul then bucketed along the chase to finish it with just 3 balls to spare.

Definitely happy with our team's effort! Everyone has performed dominantly at some point of time. Just lost the fourth place. :)

Happy to dee everyone taking their losses so positively. I love the sportsmanship.

Anyways Harris and Iridium choose the pitch conditions!

Well I'm not quite sure how we've ended up finishing in 2nd, considering how we struggled to find any rhythm at all for most of the season. Our batsmen should've easily done enough there, but yet again our bowlers were pretty poor other than Steyn. All in all the most important thing was that we won, so no complaints from me. We can only look ahead to the playoffs now.

What a poor innings by Sinclair, his innings was the main reason that we couldn't get to a defensible total even though we had wickets in hand. Styris, Kallis, Quiney and Oram were some positives from the game. Good to see ourselves in play-offs we've definitely improved from where we were in the last season.

Your opening woes continue. Sinclair was amazing last season & Nicol did well during the warmups and is well rated. Why don't you open with Quiney, who is an opener.

Yeah, I'd try that. If this is the last game for us this season let's just end it in style.
