I did not even rate him close to Messi or Ronaldo. It was a time when I was a soccer idiot, understand. And in FM, you can get Torres from 120M$ to 140M$ only. And Manchester City always pay twice the amount of the value of the player. That is what I did. Imitate they're background. And even in real soccer, Ronaldo was bought at 132M$.

BTW, as Rose said, you guys can create a thread where you can humiliate Torres or any footballer you don't like or you think who gets overpaid.

And again, do we really care? Maybe some background info on it, and it needs to be set out better. Both of your stories so far have just been out of place, so it's really annoying reading the updates, and it shows you haven't put much effort into the presentation. Just look at some stories from some of the better story writers and you'll see what I mean.

If you can only get him for that much money, don't buy him. He's not worth it.

You would have been much better off trying to get a player like Dzeko or Guiseppe Rossi. They, in my opinion, would have been a much better option than Torres. They probably aren't rated as highly in FM, but they'd probably have saved you a lot of money
