Rugby League Official NRL 2010 thread

Can't believe the Raiders beat the Warriors last week, wish I had gone to that game now even though it was pouring down.

Was mainly watching the City Country game where Dugan ripped up and Coote wasn't far behind. Test match looked scrappy, can throw a bit of blame towards the weather.

Piss poor effort from St George. We attacked more like Cronulla than the 3rd top point scorers or whatever we are/were.

If Manly didn't stuff up at home against the Titans you could call them favourites. Them and the Dragons are the top 2 teams atm, Titans not far behind.

Dragons had a lot of players backing up from the previous night, and Manly are a decent team this year. If the Dragons had to lose one, this is probably the most appropriate. It's a shame they lost to the Storm earlier in the season - this was before Melbourne were exposed as cheats and were the premiership favourites.

If I'm correct Manly had 4 players that played on Friday, and the Dragons only 2.
Dragons weren't too bad, if a few 50-50 calls had gone there way, it might have been a different story. (maybe I'm too used to watching a pathetic team :p)

Well Weyman didn't backup so only had one backing up for them. They did have a lot of late changes due to injury, not counting the guys already injured.

Yeah you're right. I forgot about that :)

Dragons play the Bulldogs next week - another tough one.

We had 5 players who played on friday night (Creagh, Young, Weyman, Nightingale and Morris) and we had 6 players out - Scott, Nightingale, Weyman, Saffy, Smith, Fien - plus Young backing up on his dodgy knee, and Creagh and Morris looked tired.

Oh you're right. :p Don't know what I was thinking

Warriors just signed Feleti Mateo and Krishnan Inu and resigned Luck for next season. Also Steve Rapira is coming home.
I like the Mateo signing but not too sure on Inu, considering we had a lot of spare cash (legal cash too)

Great work from the Warriors, but you may of been able to get better than Inu. Maybe he'll hit some good form for you guys.

Inu has the potential to be up there with Folau so hes a good signing if he can reach his potential. Mateo will fit right in with the Warriors style of play, will be offloads galore.

Inu has potential but the word has been he's done stuff all to fulfill it. Apparantely he's too up-himself and doesn't take the game serious enough. Hopefully the Warriors can bring the best out of him.

Finally! The warriors will be fielding an almost full-strength team this week. The only notable name still out is that of Steve Price. Seymour, Mannering and the beast will strengthen us hugely. Also Ukuma Ta'ai is starting !:D
