Kabir Ali is one of the big forgotten talents of the early 2000s. In any other era of English cricket he'd've got more opportunities, but instead he got only one Test match and 14 ODIs to prove himself. He never once let England down, and his 500 first-class wickets at 27.46 suggest England really missed out on a quality performer. Ali's Test wickets were Neil McKenzie, Jacques Rudolph, Gary Kirsten (twice) and Makhaya Ntini.
