So I believe that leaves me with...

:eng: :bwl: Simon Kerrigan

0 wickets in 1 Test match

Simon Kerrigan's Test debut was absolutely life-changing. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't a good change: the left-armer had to bowl against prime Shane Watson and Steve Smith, and within eight painful overs his Test career was over. A large part of the blame for this has to fall at the feet of captain Alastair Cook: Kerrigan bowled no worse than Tom Hartley did in his first Test spell, but where Hartley retained the confidence of his captain and was given the opportunity to bounce back, Kerrigan never was. Afterwards, Kerrigan was never quite as effective as he had been in the 2013 County Championship. He finished his career up as a valued senior pro at (the mighty) Northants.

@Aislabie The draft has ended. If you'll allow and if people are interested I can run a knockout tournament with these 10 teams on Cricket Captain 2024.

In round 1 we'll have 5 matches with each team playing a game. The best 8 will advance to Quarter Finals and so on. I'll figure out a way to determine qualification criteria for round 1 and for matches that end up in a draw.

Qualification Criteria:

For Pre-Knockouts Round:
- The top 8 teams will advance to the Quarterfinals.

* In a four innings division. First innings means first innings and second innings. Third and fourth innings won't be counted for bonus points.

For Quarterfinals and Semifinals:
- Progression will be based on match result in following precedence, Win > Draw > Points.
- In the event of a tie in points, the NRR from the first innings* will determine which team advances.
- Unlike Pre-Knockouts Rounds, this time the result of other match(es) won't matter in determining which team qualifies for the next stage.

Note: Points are specific to each match and do not carry over to subsequent rounds.
