After electing to bat first, Supreme General XI reached a big 1st innings total. Paul Collingwood led the way with his 79.

Just as the batting team was looking in a position to wrap up at 350-8, Chris Jordan and Mark Wood strung together a record 9th wicket partnership, scoring 89 and 81 respectively.

Before these two batters got their eye set in, Stuart Broad was the one who was taking consistent wickets. He ended up with excellent figures of 6-128 in 33 overs.

That was a humongous effort from Dan Lawrence. In just 289 balls, he scored 233 runs, pretty much single-handedly putting Aislabie XI in front with a lead.

For the most part of the innings, Nasir Hussain was the partner in crime in this effort, scoring 82.

From the bowling side, only Chris Jordan's effort couldn't be overlooked, as he ended with figures of 4-78 in his 17 overs.

Supreme General XI were absolutely outdone in a fashion that was not expected.

Ryan Sidebottom yet again tore through the opposition with his lethal bowling, ending up with 6 wickets.

Keaton Jennings was the highest run-scorer for Supreme General XI with 52.

Aislabie XI will need 236 runs to reach the Final.

That was it! Harry Brook, in style, sends his team into the Final! He remained not out on 61.

Nasir Hussain was the 2nd highest run-scorer in this innings with 55.

Supreme General XI tried to defend this smallish total and did end up taking 5 wickets, but it was nowhere near enough.

Aislabie XI have qualified for the Final!

The start was not ideal for Paranoid Kendroid XI. Maybe it was the nerves of this big game. Wickets kept tumbling from one end.

The end where the wickets were not tumbling, was held by James Taylor. Who pretty much batted the whole innings and scored a massive 192 for his side.

For Aislabie XI, Dom Bess was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 wickets.

The start was strong from the batting team. Sam Robson scored a wonderful 130.

That hundred was followed by some innings of destruction from Harry Brook and Jamie Smith. Who scored 123 and 96 respectively.

Aislabie XI took a big lead after scoring a massive 528 1st innings total.

Nick Compton started the innings cautiously and crept to 83 before getting dismissed.

Jason Roy and James Tredwell also scored fifties.

But the star of today's play was Ben Foakes. He scored 104 and ensured his team ends up taking a big lead. But is it enough?

Aislabie XI will need 297 to win and claim the Trophy.

That's it! Jack Leach with the golden arm has done it. He took the final wicket and ends with the figures of 4-57 in 19.5.

Aislabie XI had a decent start to the chase. Kevin Pietersen and Harry Brook scored 74 and 52 respectively.

But it was the middle and then the lower order collapse ignited by Jack Leach and Chris Woakes (3-64). That restricted Aislabie XI to 243.

Paranoid Kendoid XI have won the "OH JIMMY JIMMY DRAFT CONVERTED INTO TEAMS INSIDE CRICKET CAPTAIN 2024" Trophy!
