@zaff4444 Bro take a chill pill. I posted the score card so that @fiction can investigate that Invisible balls are still an issue with this game. Btw, how you could even score 33 Runs in 5 Overs when ALL 30 Balls were Invisible to you...Also you told me that ALL balls were invisible after the end of the match, if you had told me after the 1st Invisible ball, I could have saved and restarted the match. I have played a lot of Online Matches in both PS3 & Steam, but this is the 1st time someone told me that ALL the balls were Invisible to him, but somehow he still scored 33 Runs (but lost only 6 wickets) on those 30 invisible balls. Moreover, I think balls on which you hit Six and Fours were suddenly not invisible anymore, and only the balls you missed/didn't scored were Invisible.

No doubt about your honesty bro....I am just saying that these issues should be rectified by BAS in Patch-3...Or else no fun playing when after the game opponent say he played the complete innings where MOST of the balls were Invisible..I salute your courage of continuing with the match in such difficult circumstances.

Got back into some online the past week, I see 5 star teams and slow short drifting spin bowling are the order of the day for most which is pretty disappointing. had a few good matches one last night with a bloke called chaman82 who bowled great to his field in the first innings i was able to find the gaps on a few occasions once the restrictions were lifted. I tried to do the same when I was bowling and he was able to find the gaps better with some good use of sweeps. It ended up really close in the end with 2 balls and 2 runs required with a wicket in hand i think, he was able to find the gap and run 2 and I ran the ball over the rope in defeat, good stuff.

Yeah , when the lag is good , Online is wonderfull , but when its high , it can be the most horrible experience.

The unplayable short stuff from spinners and medium bowlers should be taken out of the game. It's not just an issue with online games but AI does it often too. Last night I was dismissed LBW against a spinner (Fawad Ahmed IIRC) where the ball pitched nearly halfway down the pitch and hit me on my shoe as it slowly traversed through its parabolic path. In real life I could have hammered the ball anywhere but unfortunately on DBC you are hoping that you don't get dismissed against such deliveries.

Similarly you are bound to get slow short stuff from medium bowlers such as Hopes, Bopara etc. in career mode where the delivery barely reaches you and somehow the ball trajectory on the replay always shows the ball landing on the stumps even though it hits your batsman on the thigh. The slower bowling speeds have been fixed somewhat but not nearly enough as far as spinners and medium bowlers are concerned. Hopefully the issue will be fixed in patch 3 and am paging @fiction to ensure it's on Big Ant's radar.

Just wanted to revisit this:

I've decided to put it down with the cricket leagues forum, because of the comments from many regarding seeing leagues they aren't involved in popping up as the last post in this section.

Would people prefer that the online play section is brought up to the top here, to perhaps get more attention to ongoing leagues and make organising matches easier - or keeping things as they are?

If people online create a five star team then it doesn't matter who is in the line up, they could make Italy the best cricket team in the world or bowl with a batsman. it's pointless playing them because they hit the ball like the hulk would. if a player uses a medium and they are all slow bouncers or a fast bowler bowling Yorkers and nothing else then quit on them because its not fair and not in the spirit of the game.
