Yeah I know what you mean Arslaan. I tried the West Indies scorecard for my new story but it looks horrendous.

Anyway very nice update, a good read as usual

Well...thats a good score for Pakistan...good batting bye Afridi, Misbah and Razzaq. Lets see if Pakistan can restrict them.

KUTGW!

Great score from Pakistan. I hope they can bowl as well as they batted.

Pakistan Strike Early
(Watson departs)

After a break of approximately 20 minutes, Australian openers Shaun Marsh and Shane Watson as well as the Pakistani fielders came out into the middle. Marsh had burst onto the International scene after the conclusion of the IPL where he scored consistently. Watson however was sent as a pinch-hitter during the Powerplay overs. This was Misbah's second match as captain. Shoaib Akhtar was back and playing his first One-Day International for Pakistan since Pakistan's tour of India in November 2007. Shoaib was ready and so were the crowd as they were roaring for the first ball to play. Shoaib's first ball was left alone by Marsh. The speed indicated 89.5mph. Opening the bowling from the other end was surprisingly not Umar Gul but Sohail Tanvir. His unorthodox action would prove to be a handful but Marsh was up to the task and continued his fine form with a straight drive past Sohail for the first boundary of the Innings. The plan was to attack Sohail and play defensively against Shoaib. In Shoaib's first three overs, he was proving to be a pain for both Marsh and Watson.

Watson was struggling to pick up Shoaib. He was lucky to survive as a 91 mph ball from Shoaib just missed the outside edge of Watson's bat. Next ball Watson got a 90mph thunderbolt into the ribcage. Shoaib glared at Watson as he stood there winded.

Watson under pressure from Shoaib tried to release the pressure by attacking Tanvir. He advanced down the pitch and attempted to heave the ball over Fine-Leg. However, the ball skied up high into the floodlights and Shoaib Malik took the catch. Watson was angry at his dismissal and he trudged off towards the pavilion.

Captain Ricky Ponting arrived at the crease with the ball swinging and seaming off the pitch under the floodlights. He started well getting a boundary off his first ball with the typical cover-drive of his.

Good start for Pakistan. if they can get a couple of wickets, they'll be in firm control.

Excellent work mate, really is top class

One of these guys must bat to at least the 40th over or make a 50+ score and create a good backbone for the innings.

LOL! Watson got hit in the nuts.

Great update there Azlan. I really liked the last image with Ponting's stats; very innovative. Australia are in trouble here but they aren't the #1 team for nothing. I expect a close finish. Looking forward to this.
