Pakistan Squad Announced

Today,the Pakistani selectors held a long and thoughtful meeting in Karachi regarding the squad for the upcoming Sharjah Cup. There are some young players and some returning players. The Pakistani team are expected to take the short-hop to Sharjah in 2 or 3 days. For this tour vice-captain Misbah-ul-Haq will be the captain. With the Champions Trophy coming up, this will be an important tour.

The Pakistani Cricket Board's Chairman Dr Naseem Ashraf said
PCB Chairman said:
We have formally excluded Mohammad Asif on the basis of taking drugs and not compelling with the ICC's terms and conditions. In this team we have brought back 2 players that played in the ICL and that being Imran Nazir and Abdul Razzaq.

ICC World Twenty20 2009
ICC Meeting in Dubai
3rd March, 2009


Today, the ICC Chairman David Morgan and other ICC officials arranged a meeting in Dubai regarding the ICC World Twenty20 2009 fixtures. The fixtures were announced after a long discussion and taking onboard critisism from the previous, inaugural tournament in South Africa.
Coming to conclusions, here are the ICC World Twenty20 2009 fixtures.

Wow!!! no youngsters or new unknown faces . Surprised to see Nazir and Razzaq back...
 
Should be a good tour, three teams that can all beat each other. Australia have to be favourites, but who knows.
