Australia vs Pakistan
(Preview)​

The tournament opener is an exciting one as Australia take on Pakistan. The 3 time World Champions have been in fantastic form whilst Pakistan's form has been up and down. The Weather is expected to be hot and humid for tomorrow's game.

Both team camps were found practicing exceptionally hard for tomorrow's opener. Yesterday, the Australian camp landed in Sharjah. Ahead of the first ODI, Australia held a Press Conference.

Ponting: "We will not take Pakistan easy"​

I think this will be a tough game for us because we do not have that good a record in the Sub-Continent. Our form has been very good in the last couple of months but we will not take Pakistan easy as they can be a tough team to beat. We will have to play very carefully and be watchful. I am sure our boys will give it all they have got and play in a confident manner.

Pakistan's Training​

The Pakistani team were found to be practicing very hard for their upcoming game against the World Champions. Coach Geoff Lawson was training his men very hard and was giving special attention to pacer Shoaib Akhtar as he has been out of action for a mere 9 month in the International scene. Coach Lawson said.

It is going to be a tough task to beat the Australians despite the conditions being in our favour. We all know that Australia is a tough team to beat anywhere in the World but we have beaten them before which boosts our spirits. I am sure the boys will give it all they've got.

New captain Misbah-ul-Haq was very busy with the boys discussing tactics however he had enough time to talk to the Press.

Misbah: "Australians are predators"

It is a great feeling to be playing back in Sharjah. It is also a fantastic feeling to be captaining Pakistan. It is a life-long feeling. Regarding tomorrow's game, we will have to play 110% and be on the ball as Australians are predators.
