But seriously guys, Kaif has proven track record of scoring runs when he given time to spend the middle. Natwest series final, WC2003 match against Pak, one more where he scored 111 in ICC KO. He is not a slogger. He is an accumulator, great runner between wickets... ideal to keep score ticking. It's amazing why sending him at no. 3 is not being tried yet. Anyway in last four matches he has not been able to contribure in the slog overs so why not try and send him at no. 3?

Also I was checking Dravid's stats and scorecards while being captain and coincidentally or not Agarkar has been in all the matches in which Dravid was the captain. So folks, hang on tight you might see Agarkar starting in playing XI. If he does I pray god that he bowls well.

Sometimes it just annoys be with the fact that people criticize ganguly too much. That might be their opinion and i would be better off respecting that. But facts speak for themselves, the stats just prove that ganguly is an amazing player. He is in very very bad form though and he needs the confidence.

Just imagine this, you are in highschool or university and trying your exam/test. You fail, and people criticize you. Now you fail again, and again. Criticizing may not help you at all. What you need is a tap on your back and saying "don't worry child, we know how good you are, you can do it" Now thats what is a confidence booster. Ganguly has failed for the last year or so, agreed! but he is not in the worst touch of all. He captaincy needs no praises, his batting needs no comments. Just leave him alone, give him time to get back to basics and he will come out with a bang.

I really hope he takes this ban seriously and practices hard. He is a strong fellow with his mind but now its his bat that has to do the talking.

No ganguly, and the team looks unclear but i believe kumble will be back for karthik. Agarkar might just be in for either balaji or nehra and either mongia/sriram for ganguly.

For pakistan, after two deserving victories, the line-up should be the same. The might be tempted though, to bring arshad khan in for someone.

Less than 2 hours to go, hope this match is as thrilling as the last one!
