Perhaps you could give us a bit more detail into the New Zealand's innings. It's more interesting because you build up suspense.

POOR PERFORMANCE!!!​

The Pakistani batsman didnt perform that well with the ball but performed even worse with the bat with the Opener Farhat going after 2 balls leaving a ball that nipped in then none of the batsman looked to settle some good scores but all out under pressure being forced to slog 20 overs befor end to keep them in it which only resulted in a loss for them!!!

They must must work on the batting if they are to stand a chance against New Zealnad in the first ODI, Pakistans final lineup is still not decided but they need to sort it out......quick!!!

New Zealand feel they are ready to take on Pakistan in these ODIs the capitan Flemming feels they will have the upper hand after Pakistans loss to Northn Districkts and especially the way they lost was not convincing so he feels with their own batting lineup and players they can pull it off against them in this first ODI starting later on!!!

He has also been working on his own form in the nets and is pretty sure his team are ready for the whole upcoming tour!!!

The Pakistan team on the other hand think that their loss this week was not a big effect on them as most of their key players were not playing and they are still working out who to open and who to drop but they are certain that this time Afridi will open with Butt and they have told him to get them off to a quick start!!!

Lineups will be posted in a bit!!!

The match has got under way and New Zealand have won the toss and choosen to bat first in this Night match the pitch is also a big runs pitch its hard with a lightning outfield to allow the batsman to a good start we'll post regular updates for now heres the pitch and the players getting ready...

EVENLY MATCHED!!!​

Both the teams have shown it will be a great ODI series first Pakistan kept great pressure not giving away runs then Asif bowled out Sinclare for 7 and then the very next ball got Flemming with the very same deliver the reverse swinger but except this time it was a no ball which gave him a lifeline will this mistake cost the Pakistanis!!!

Then Vinccent sent out a early message with a huge six and a couple of well driven fours, Flemming is also trying to work in boundaries and a few overs ago New Zealand looked like they were not going to post a big score now it looks pretty good with 35+ at 10 overs!!!

SOME LUCK SOME CLASS FOR NEW ZEALAND!!!​

The Kiwis have produced some really good shots despite the run rate they have played some class shots and do need to pump the runs but not doing to bad at the moment!!!

Pakistan on the other hand have been a bit unlucky some of it is their own fault with things like missfields going for 4 but the since the no ball bowled it looks like luck isnt going to go their way as Siclare was dropped by a ball which struck him on the gloves by Mohammed Sami but then dropped by Shoaib Malik at 1st Slip besides that its still been quite even at the moment and if New Zealand dont hurry up there not going to make a big total on this fantastic batting track!!!

KIWIS TAKE CONTROL OF BOWLING ATTACK!!!​

Well we said already when luck doesnt go your way it definatly makes sure it will go against you full steam ahead as Pakistan found out in these last couple of overs where they have been shown many chances that have slipeped from their clutches.

As the Kiwi batsman looked slow in scoring runs now have started to excel fast and both Vincent and Felmming have reached 50s and have had their luck with the bat as many edges went through the vacant slip areas but they also have been scoreing in some style to which lets them have the cousion of making a big total!!!

The Pakistani bowlers really need some sort of lucky break or a wicket some time soon as it has already reached the 30th over and NZ look in a strong position with 9 wickets in hand!!!
