Then S.Malik fell right after that as he came in and nudged the ball about nicely as he always does but it didnt last for to long because luck never went his way and he played a legside shot to fine onto his stumps as Vetori got his first wicket in his first over!!!
The positive side for Pakistan was Afridi as he hit out to his amazing 50 in style with a huge six. All Innings his timing has been good and has really went after every bowler with his aggresive play which you can tell he wants Pakistan victory instead of satisfying himself!!!
New Zealnad have put some pressure on Pakistan by taking some wickets in quick sucession of some key senior Pakistan batsman first of was Inzi who was hitting out until he was caught by playing a mssstimed shot which went straight to the fielder then soon after M Yousuf put on a show of some sixes and a few fours when he was caught also in the in-field of a misstimed slog. Younis Khan didnt stay to long either as his wicket ws rpobably the most emarassing to it was a ball fairly wide of legside but had swing on it Khan miss judged it and left it as the ball swang onto his leg peg to to bring his Innings to an end. From their on Razzaq and Afridi were left at the crease this is where there was some threat for New Zealand as they did hit a few shots to get boundaries but it was soon ended as Afridi's 6 attemp was jst short of the rope and into the fielders welcoming hands!!!
But Pakistan have also have their fiar share of fun as some of the batsman have come and started to whack 6s and 4s putting the NZ total in danger of being chased down with ease but now its all up to Razzaq and Akmal to see Pakistan through or it might be a first up loss for them!!!
Pakistan are coming ever so close to winnig this match and that by ease to as Razzaq and Akmal look solid just ticking their way to victory with only a few runs to get and 4 wickets in hand it is possible for Flemmings men to produce somthing special but it will have to be somthing really great and does not look like it will happen or you never know it could but right now Pakistan look on top to win!!!
Pakistan have gone 1-0 up in somewhat shakey fashion as the job was left with Kamran Akmal and Mohammed Sami who had to get the final runs it could have really gone either way but Pakistan calmly for once knocked of the runs and got a comfortable win with Akamal slogging in the end with a 6 and two 4s which took the coach and the rest of the team out of their misery as in one pont of the match they looked to be on the looseing end. Although New Zealand lost they showed all around that Pakistan are not going to have the easiest of tours as they put up a great fight and fought Pakistan to the wire as Pakistan had to rely on a tailender and wicket keeper batsman to do the job which shows the game could have gone either way!!!
Sky Sports will bring you more live and exclusive updates on the build up and info on this promisingly exciting 2nd ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand stayed tuned and watch out as both teams need to fine tune their line-ups especially Pakistan we'll see what they try out but for now stay tuned to this exciting International Tour!!!
As the 2nd ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand draws closer the two teams are deciding who to drop and who to pick. New Zealand have confirmed their team will remain the same for this next match up because they feel all the boy in that side had the power to win but just didnt quite manage to get to grips with the Pakistan attack fast enough but are now ready and waiting for it!!! Pakistan are still quite uncertain on what to do the main speculation is if they want to move Kamran Akamal to opening and put Shoaib Malik up there with him to replace Salman Butt and Afridi down the order its a really tough choice for them and they need to decide which will do best for them they might also try Akamal & Butt which looks the most obvious so far we'll have to wait and see until the match!!!
