KIWIS LOOSE A FEW!!!​

The Pakistani bowlers have done what they needed although some of it was costly.

As they battled to get one of the two in form men out all Pakistan could do was bowl and wish for the best and it happened in Sami's last over where he got rid of the dangerous Vincent for 66 his shot was well played it was struck high in the air and maybe would have went for 6 but the fielder was in the right place at the right time and got his hands right under it but it was still a crucial Innings by Vincent!!!

That wicket then bought in Astle who from the very first ball was hitting out with 6s and all sorts but he didnt last long against the spin of Afridi as he went to play another attacking shot but it was on the wrong line and trapped him in front for a reletivaly out looking LBW as his quick Innings came to a quick end!!!

New Zealand now still hold a dominant position to post a big total with 10 overs left and 7 wickets remaining they still have plenty of batsmen and time to build a healthy total if they can avoide the cllapse of wicets!!!

KIWIS POST CHALLENGING TOTAL!!!​

The Kiwis have shocked the Pakistan team by attacking them so badly in the last 3-4 overs of their innings where they looked like they were strugling and looked to only post a max of 230 but somehow the capitan was biding his time and went all out 6s he hit many boundaries to get the Kiwis to their total and he reached his century with a grand pull shot for six as Akther's attack was just a piece of cake for him. Some of the other Kiwi batsman had intentions to hit but got a start with some boundaries and a few sixs thenjust got out they will be greatful for Flemmings great knock!!!

The only highlight of Pakistans Innings while bowling would probably be that Asif is in fine form and still was picking up wickets while Flemming was cutting loose as he got rid of some of the dangers with catches to support him in the in-field and he also took a catch to, what is the downside of the Innings is that Flemming was bowled 1st ball and then went on to make 100+ but we all know the Pakistanis have problems with the run ups and sometimes over cook them!!!

Now a lot depnds on Pakistans oppeners will Butt be able to prove he is still in good touch and can Afridi impress this time around?

PAKISTAN FIRE AWAY!!!​

The two Pakistani batsman have fired away with many good shots 4s and some 6s both the batsman are going at a similar pace with only one intension to hit the ball to the boundary.

Many said Afridi is not up to standard these days well hes proved them wrong by playing his natural game of hitting out as he has hit quite a few lofted shots away to the fence whicle the Kiwis watched these two explode!!!

The Kiwis now need to really find a way to get a wicket because Pakistan have cemented themselves into a strong position to chace this total down and have got in this position pretty fast will Flemming be able to think of a way to get past this fearsome opening attack?
