TOSS
Inzamam won the toss and elected to bowl first

PM:So Inzy what will you do?
I: I think we will have a bowl first as this is a quick wicket and it will favout our seamers i.e; Asif and Sami. If we can get early wickets we are in the game.
PM: No Shoaib Akhtar, why is that?
I: Well, Shoaib has flown home after a hamstring :D strain and is uncapable of playing in the Test Series.
PM: Ok Inzy thanks and good luck in the match
I: Thank you
PM: So Greame, losing the toss are you upset?
GS: Ah not really as we were going to bat first anyway. Erm.. but Inzy was right it is a good wickt
PM: Any changes to your usual squad?
GS: Yes Robbie Peterson has come in for the retired Nicky Boje.
PM: Ok thanks Greame and good luck in the match
GS: Thanks Pommie

PAKISTAN GET DE VILLIERS, 71/1
Mohammad Sami finally got the wicket of the dangerous AB De Villiers who had played quite well for his 22. Sami bowled it full and straight and that's the saying "you miss i hit" South Africa have a long batting order to come yet

Ian Healy: Hello and welcome to xtra cover. He we will discuss all about that fiery England innings. Our guest today is Dean Jones. Well Dean first lets talk about Kevin Pietersen.
Dean Jones: Well, yes he played his shots nicely and timed his innings very well. England had 5 more wickets at the death. I liked it when McGrath attempted a inswinging yorker but it went BANG!! for six!!!
Ian Healy:Also you can't forget Alistair Cook. He was Pietersen's main support.
Dean Jones: Yes, he stuck around with Pietersen very well and he also played his shots into the gaps. Changing 1's to 2's.
Ian Healy:It has been a nice day for cricket so for. Lets discuss with the toss.England won the toss and decided to bat first. What do think with this decision Dean?Dean Jones: Well yes im not surprised actually. Ricky said if he won the toss he would also bat first. Also for the bowlers we saw plenty of seam movement and latural movement of the pitch.

Here is the scorecard:
cricket0720070107184844ud8.png

Dean Jones: Well Strauss's bad form with the bat continued after the Ashes just going for 5. Also Ian Bell also just going for 1 off 30 balls. Come on belly it's not a test match! Then came KP. He really played well taking it to the Australian attack with Cook at his side for support. Overall a great effort by England
Here are the Bowling figures:
cricket0720070107184852wd7.png

Dean Jones: Yeah great stuff like regulary Glenn McGrath going for les than 4 an over. He was troubling the Strauss,Bell and Read early on. Lee going for 35 in his last 5 overs. Stuart Clark was the leading wicket taker in the Ashes and he also bowled very well with a lot of seam movement.
Ian Healy: Now lets focus on Kevin Pietersen. On where he scored his shots.
cricket0720070107184904rw3.png

Dean Jones: Well yes most of his runs were throught mid-on. He played around all areas. Truly a great knock.
Ian Healy: And now we will look at his wagon wheel.
cricket0720070107184909ac7.png

Dean Jones: Well until the 40th over, Pietersen had played 1 and 2's and the occasional boundary. But he hit 9 sixes right near the death when the ball was reversing a bit, and he played it very well hitting it with the full meat of the bat.
Ian Healy: And that's it from xtra cover. After the break, we will have the Aussie run-chase.

AUSTRALIA NEED 271 RUNS TO WIN OFF 50 OVERS AT 5.42 RPO
