K.N : Welcome to the Presentation Ceremony for the 2nd match of this MTN ODI between Pakistan and South Africa on SuperSport TV. It was an one-sided match and its simply all credit to South Africa.

K.N : Well now I would like to call the loosing captain first Inzamam-Ul-Haq first to have few words here please....

K.N : Well, tough Luck Inzy, just a poor batting perforamnce in the end.

Inzy : Asalamulakum, bismilah irakhmanirakhim first of all thanks to Allah.Well, today in this match it wasn't our day... We didnt play well with the bat and the ball & South Africa did an outstanding job in all aspects of the game. But in the end South Africa deserved the win.The just murdered us in the end

K.N : What do you think of the South African bowling??

Inzy :Well, this was troubling our batsmen most of the time. The ball was bouncing a lot more than expected. Pollock and Nel bowled brilliantly and that took the game away from us from the 1st wicket.

K.N : Thanks Inzy and better luck next time in this series!!!

Inzy : Thank you....

K.N : Well now its the time for the winning captain to come on the stage and have a few words please.... Please put your hands together for Greame Smith

K.N : Well Greame, another win which puts you up 1-0 in this series, whats your opinion on this victory?

G.S : Its been a great effort by the whole team...in other words, Its simply team-work that has led us to this victory... Pollock and Nel blew away the Pakistani top-order and from then on it wasn't hard for us to clean up the tail.

K.N : Well while batting you did also did yet again another great job.. and this time going on to get another half-century how did u manage to bat on this bouncy and dangerous wicket where Nel and Pollock prevailed?

G.S : Well I just fought my way through it and played along. Early on Asif was getting some movement but after 7 overs me and AB hit out to get this match done with in a hurry

K.N : Thanks Greame and we hope this good form of South Africa continues in this ODI Series.for .

K.N : Now it's time for the Man of The Match Award... well it was really difficult to select this.... Pollock ripped through the top-order ... Nel taking his 1st 5-Wicket Haul in ODIs...but Today's Man Of The Match goes to the person who did exceptionally well in the bowling department, and taking 5/25 in 8 Overs.... Its none other than Andre Nel! Nel could you come up and have a few words please.


K.N : Well Andre did you like the track for bowling?

A.N: Well yes it was easy because the swing was favouring me. I just tried my best to bowl it in the right areas and try and get the wickets which I did in the end

K.N : You were chatting to Younis about something, what did you say?

A.N : Well I bowled a bouncer and just gave him a few words just anyway and he came up with the bat and told me to go back to my mark. :boxing Nothing bad but that's how International Cricket works!

P.M : Hello and welcome to " xTRA COVER" which is the after match show where we will be discussing all the analysis here! As usual, we have with us Pakistani experienced batsmen Rameez Raja to discuss the detailed anaylsis of today's match.

P.M : Well Rameez, we will start from the Pakistani Innings... What do you think of the Pakistani's batting and the South African bowling? Who do you think gained the upper hand?

R.R : Well Pommie, firstly i want to say that I was once again eager to see how Pakistan would play after their big 20-20 loss.I personally thought Pakistan could learn what they did wrong in the 20-20 and bounce back with a bang. And now lets start with the Pakistani's Innings. Well 91 All Out is just not acceptable in a 50 over game. A few wickets were unlucky Yousuf and Younis were the only batsmen to atleast get them to 91.

As for the bowling however Pollock and Nel just ripped through the Pakistani batting like a wave.

P.M : And what about the South African run chase? What brilliance...

R.R : Well no-one really did any damage for Pakistan in the Bowling department as they needed quick wickets as they were defending a very very low total. Unfortunatly they didn't do that

PAKISTAN Vs SOUTH AFRICA , Live From Durban

Welcome to the second match of the MTN ODI Series between Pakistan & South Africa from Durban.... Well, lets see the pitch & Weather Report!

Weather Report ​

Well, the climate here in Durban is absolutely beautiful and will be an enjoyable environment to play cricket in.... Also the good news the rain that was lurking in the 1st ODI has gone and it's red-hot in here....Should be a great days play

Pitch Report​

The pitch remains almost the same like how it was in Centurion but there has been some additional cracks developed that might help bowlers... In one corner of the pitch, there are a whole bunch of cracks and it is just outside the right-handers so there could be just that extra bounce,carry and lift..... So i guess Pollock,Ntini and Asif will look to hit the deck hard...

Also, near the half-way, a huge hole about 5mm deep that will produce an uneven bounce which will irritate the batsmen... This will benifit to any bowlers,spin or pace.... So if the bowlers get their line and length correct the batsmen are in for a very hard time... Spinners like Afridi will be very dangerous on this pitch

The key to getting a good positive total is to, " Be Watchful "

The Team winning the toss can do anythng...but its better to bat, as the track may ware away later

Pakistan desperately need to win this game to keep the series alive, Afridi is crucial with bat and ball for South Africa, I pity the team batting second.
