Babar Azam had the second lowest dot ball percentage in ODIs in 2016, only behind Virat Kohli.

He has been really good. The only issue I see with him is the inability to hit sixes at will or constantly enough. But I hope that comes with age and practice.

Very happy to see atleast two good young batsmen in this PSL. Both Hussain Talat and Fakhar Zaman should be in limited overs team as soon as possible. I am not sure if Fakhar can play short ball as good as Sharjeel but I guess he should be the No.1 choice to replace Sharjeel specially for West Indies tour and CT17 atleast. Selectors should stay away from Shehzad because his atitude is still a problem.
I don't see the management will drop Hafeez considering he can bowl now so first choice openers should be Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez. Kamran Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad are probably the only two reserve openers and for me Kamran is a better option until CT17 atleast.

I think we've found a power hitter down the order. 'Shadab Khan'

He just need to be developed a bit and need experience. I sure he will and can become next power hitter for Pakistan after Afridi.

He is a good allround package and it will be wise to start trying these young players. Obviously you can not produce power hitters of Afridi and Razzaq's caliber so you need a collective effort from the team to score briskly and Shadab seems to fit much better compare to Rizwan or Nawaz for me.

Ahmed Shehzad has yet again showed his talent. I wish and hope that he can show the same level of aggression when he comes back to International Cricket soon.

India, Australia selected players if they performing good in domestic but Pakistan not, very soon you will see the team of Pakistan for WI tour.

No shehjad,
Only u Akmal get the nod

Shehzad would definitely be in the WI tour.. I dont see any reason. Anyway, Entire focus is on PSL these days. What a great tournament it has been so far Masha'ALLAH :)

If Pakistan wins the test series, Misbah will most likely drag himself further, If they loose it. He will be history. In my opinion, Whether he wins or loose it, This should be his final series but knowing him as a fan so far, He will most likely end up in confusion.

Well, I thought I would not debate about this further, but I can't help myself.

To everyone, that feels Misbah or any sportsman for that matter should retire because they're 'ageing' and reflexes are not as they were etc etc. As soon as a player turns 30, suddenly the world starts feeling that it's time to go in a couple of years and the twilight has arrived- A media driven age trial begins and then everyone waits for one failure to POUNCE.

I think a lot of people must have heard of 'Felix Baumgartner?' If one has not, see what he's achieved at 46 years of age (regarded as a super athlete) and then compare it to all these things. I often used his example when people were hell bent on telling Federer to retire.

Age is JUST a number. The mind is always more powerful than body. If you're determined enough, hard working enough and hungry enough then anything can be achieved. If life was a book where one was told when to start and when to stop, we all would be the same and there would be NO GROWTH and no-one to PUSH THE ENVELOPE.

Misbah deserves to be where he is and the decision to STEP DOWN is ONLY his.
