You just took one sentence from a whole paragraph. Anyway, With your chairman already talking stuff like he doesn't think Misbah will carry on after one or two series and his famous U-turns, I don't think so this gonna happen. Further, I don't think so you could stick with Misbah until 2018 if the team starts loosing matches. I ain't in favor of Sarfraz as well right away for test captaincy but Is Misbah the only choice left? I don't think so when you have YK as most experienced batsman and player out there in the side. I consider him a far better and smart captain than Misbah. And anything is possible, If offered He can accept the captaincy for an year or so but knowing PCB actions, All this unlikely to happen and it might end up in confusion once again.

PCB announced Misbah ji for test captain and Sarfaraz for test vice captain for 3 test match in April 2017 vs WI in WI,pakistan will announce t20 team later on this week which includes 4 t20i vs WI, now with 1st on march 26th,2017

Well @Camp will take place from march 14/15/16 for Pakistan's 31 probable for WI tour and WC 2017
Final Xl will be announce later on

KAMRAN AKMAL
AHMED SHAHJAD
SAEED AJMAL
HAFEEZ
Etc,

Called for the camp

Shadab Khan has been signed in the CPL draft by Trinbago Knight Riders for 30k $. Other Pakistanis selected are Sohail Tanvir (Guyana Amazon Warriors), Mohammad Sami and Imad Wasim (Jamaica Tallawahs), Wahab Riaz (Barbados Tridents) and Kamran Akmal (St. Lucia Stars).
Afridi, Aamir and other players weren't in the draft because they'll play in the NatWest T20 Blast.

Commercialism and huge bucks have snatched away the passion for playing with country from the younger generation of players. Wearing a test cap was used to be a huge dream for players and now it is getting replaced with having a money cap for playing in forigen T20 leauges instead. Cricket is becoming more of a profession now, A money earning machine career rather than having a pride to play for your country.. Its a pity....

I remember when Jonathan Agnew asked Tony Grieg about his favorite moment. He said "Wearing a Test Cap for the first time. If I under performed in there that was a different case. It doesn't related or matter much whether I performed good or not but just having a Test Debut was the most proud moment for me ever which is priceless"

And now we are seeing players like Iftikhar Ahmed getting a test cap and you have your test caps ready to throw away. Sad........ :facepalm

Good to see different bowling combinations in both formats. Glad to see Amir dropped from the T20 squad, but Sohail Khan, the highest wicket taker in PSL, dropped, why?[DOUBLEPOST=1489585920][/DOUBLEPOST]
except Hafeez's inclusion
With the innings against Quetta, it was hard to drop him.

I would assume the age factor with him. It's not like he is a long term prospect, I don't see him playing cricket for more than 2years, it would be a waste if they gave him a spot instead of a younger player.[DOUBLEPOST=1489595942][/DOUBLEPOST]The best thing to come out of the ODI side, is dropping Azhar. I hope Pakistan can start making quick starts now.[DOUBLEPOST=1489596028][/DOUBLEPOST]The best thing to come out of the ODI side, is dropping Azhar. Kamran, who last played for Pakistan in April 2014, scored a century and aggregated 353 runs in Peshawar Zalmi's run to the PSL title.

Kamran Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad returned to Pakistan setup in the limited-overs squads for the forthcoming tour of West Indies. Former captain Azhar Ali is a big-name absentee from the ODI squad, having endured a lean run in the series loss in Australia.

The call-ups for Kamran and Shehzad come on the back of a highly productive Pakistan Super League, where both batsmen finished among the top-five run-getters in the league.

Kamran, who last played for Pakistan in April 2014, scored a century and aggregated 353 runs in Peshawar Zalmi's run to the PSL title. Shehzad was just as impressive for finalists Quetta Gladiators, finishing with 242 runs at a strike-rate of 132.24. Kamran has also had a highly impressive domestic season, scoring 361 runs from eight innings in the departmental domestic one-day cup and a further 1035 runs from 14 in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy.

Shehzad, who himself scored three hundreds enroute to aggregating 653 runs at an average of 93.28, is first in line to replace the now-suspended Sharjeel Khan.

While Kamran has experienced an upturn in fortunes, younger brother Umar was left out of both limited-overs squads after reportedly failing fitness tests at the ongoing national camp before the tour.

PSL discoveries Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan were named in both squads. The selection panel, headed by former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, also issued call-ups to Mohammad Asghar and all-rounder Fahim Ashraf, who will join veteran Asif Zakir as the five fresh faces in the 50-over squad.

For the T20Is, pacers Rumman Raees and Usman Khan Shinwari made the cut with Mohammad Amir receiving the axe.

Pakistan will play four T20Is, three ODIs and three Tests in a tour spanning nearly two months between March and May.

ODI squad: Ahmed Shehzad, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Asif Zakir, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Fahim Ashraf, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Asghar, Sarfraz Ahmed(captain)

T20I squad: Ahmed Shehzad, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, Rumman Raees, Usman Khan.

Kamran Akmal named in ODI, T20I squads ahead of WI tour - Cricbuzz

Very good squad except the inclusion of Hafeez. Sohail might be highest wicket taker but I guess Inzy picked up the right options, Gave chances to young bowling performers. Rumman Raees and Usman Khan looks for the future. But on the other hand, I feel like Mickey Arthur has some problems with Sohail too... It was shown in PSL as well.

Lets hope that these young players will get consistent chances rather than dropping them off after this series

He mostly didn't open bowling with M Amir in PSL and M Amir was unabke to take wickets with new ball. Sohail Khan came after 3-4 overs and provided you breakthroughs and even after powerplay.

I agree on Aamir. He has been bowling good but he is going flat wicket less ever since he made a return. Its understandble, He is no more what he was. He still got time, Maybe he will regain that magic. The problem with Sohail in my opinion that he gets thrashed in international matches. In order to induct him in T20's you would need to replace Rumman and Usman which isn't ideal in my view

Very good squad except the inclusion of Hafeez.

The worst part of the inclusion is that against Wi, he is likely to score a decent hundred and take some wickets which will mean he has guaranteed a position in the next series. It seems Pakistan just can't get rid of him. Just because he is a 5th bowler who used to be decent at opening the bowling, doesn't mean that we should keep put him in the playing XI.
