11) Hasan Ali

What do you guys think?

Sami Aslam is much better.
100% correct... Although dont know much about Pakistan Domestic Cricket... From what I have seen in the international matches... Sami Aslam has been much better than Shan Masood

Same as the others said, Sami Aslam is the future. Plus his temperament is probably second to Azhar Ali in this new team. Fawad is probably the most deserving choice, only thing I'll do is placing Fawad Ahead of Asad Shafiq. Asad should bat at the same number where he has scored his bulk of runs, and it gives Pakistan some cushion in the lower middle order.

Sami Aslam is one for future however off-late in test matches, He has been massively slow with poor footwork. He dropped from the team rightly I believe. I have a hope that good positive plans by the new captain for him will help him getting back to same form.

So Umar Amin is finalized as a replacement for Umar Akmal. Currently the best from the limited choices we have, he has done well in recent Pakistan Cup. Although it seems that Inzamam is doing selection on merit but people were expecting him to think about the future and develop a pool of players, which he is unable to do so far.

Now the next question is what will happen to Umar Akmal? and what will happen to those who cleared him earlier as "fully fit"?
Our cricket administration is a laughing stock of the world.

Amen!

Wasn't there a HUGE outcry after the World T20 about not getting recycled cricketers of which U Akmal was a part? Didn't the ex-coach publicly suggest he was a dressing room pest?

Another ICC event and just before the start, a controversy. The problem with Pakistan cricket is not it's players, it's the people who run cricket. There is no team environment ever. I predict that now M Arthur will be made the culprit and villain in this situation after Pakistan lose in the CT. The bottom line is that Pakistan don't have a team worthy of winning such a global event, but they don't lack talent for it. They need a build up phase of 2-3 years where they build a pool of players as well as a team morale and camaraderie. But, I'm afraid there will be people on the outside who will claim to want the betterment of Pakistan cricket but in reality only want money/publicity.

In my personal opinion, this is a fantastic decision by whoever has taken it. This clown has been a pain in the rear for Pakistan and World cricket in general. People say he is 'talented!' Well, if you send Rehan, Talhayat or myself in a green or blue jersey for 200 odd games, even we will win a couple of games. What we won't manage to do is make our country liable to become laughing stocks because of us.

Also, he could have been fit when he left for the CT but may not be so now. I know of a lot of people who lose weight and gain weight for fun in a matter of days. And, U Akmal has himself said that even water and air make him put on weight! :lol:lol:lol
