I sincerely hope you're wrong. Besides, I'm a bit more hopeful than you. I can say, as a history student, these things always seem less intense in retrospect and attitudes can swing somewhat quickly. Although admittedly it is a lot slower in that part of the world.I don't think we would get to see that until we are alive. The condition is that bad !
On a cricketing note, just read something about rumors that Amir wants to settle down in the U.K. I was all for his Test retirement but if he cuts and runs early on Paksitan cricket than that can only be construed as rather selfish considering what they did to have him integrate back and what that did for his reputation. I tend not to say this often but he might owe them a long career in limited overs cricket. Especially now that he's no longer playing test cricket if his form allows.
