Yes. 100% agree. Has he ever won a match for Pakistan single handedly in his 7+ years of career? After watching yesterday's match, Wahab will surely give 80-90 runs if he play against India. Short of length fast bowling is the easiest to play on this edgbaston pitch.
12 Pakistani players for tomorrow's match as confirmed by Micky Arthur.
Azhar Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Fahim Ashraf, Imaad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali.
Junaid Khan, Haris Sohail and Fakhar Zaman OUT.
Like seriously Junaid Khan should be out?
Your Thoughts?
But we also don't have other openers. Ahmed Shehzad also failed. Fakhar Zaman is new. (Should get a chance). Hafeez - Are you sure he should open?WHY WHY WHY WHY is Azhar Ali in the line-up????
What has he done since being dropped? Watching the CT so far, all the games have been 300+, and with Azhar mediocre slow batting this could seriously lower our chances!!!!!!!!

You should have seen the yesterday's match where Cummins went for plenty courtesy of bowling short pitch deliveries. No matter how flat the pitch is, the english conditions always give bowler a chance if he bowl in good length with optimum speed of 130-135kph and try to seam or swing. The Indian batsmen are always susceptible to a bouncer at 150kph and Wahab can consistently do that for a full 10 overs! I want him to aim for the blue helmets at 150kph.

I very well know what is seam or swing, for both you need a perfect action and mostly bowlers get that perfect action by bowling at an optimum pace and hence allow the bowl to move. Even the great Wasim Akram used to cut his pace with new ball, if he try to swing it in these conditions. With overcast conditions there will be a little bit of juice in the pitch so the one who will bowl with upright seam will get the maximum seam while again in the overcast conditions the air is heavy and thus a bowler with right action and pace will move the ball in the air before pitching it.You know the difference between seam and swing right? Yes it may indeed seem impractical but as Ive said the Indians are weak and get rattled against the short pitch stuff at extreme pace.
