Can I put forward Stephen Cook? Little too early to put him in the same category now but he's averaging over 40 but he needs to play more games overseas. Kraigg Brathwaite also averaged over 50 this year.

With this series, I got a chance to look at Aussie bowlers closely as an audience. I must say that Aussie bowling line up is mediocre apart from Strac who is also struggling with Rhythm if not fitness I think. I am watchful for Maddinson, there has been a lot of talk about him playing for his career He might get a ton or score some runs against us and prolong his career a little more lol

Hazlewood is mediocre whattt O.o
Bird is a good bowler ! Not as good as Patto/Cummins but he is good

Yes, Vijay is definitely in the conversation. Warner has had a quite poor year.

Sadly, guys like Azhar Ali or Vijay would`nt be spoken of in test cricket circles because they play their test cricket in Asia. Somehow, runs in Asian conditions don`t get rated as highly as those scored in England/Australia. That is why whenever an Asian batsman scores in Australia or England, that is when the cricketing world takes notice. I feel this is slightly unfair to these batsmen.

Azhar Ali becomes first Pakistani batsman to score a double century in Australia. Remarkable achievement. Australian pitches were never so batting friendly to this day. Great show up by Pakistani batting, but the bowling has let the team down once again so far and it seems there is more problem with field settings and how bowlers are getting utilized by the captain. Warner and Khawaja has made bhurkus of the bowlers so far, The positive cricket by Australians is indicating that they are looking to get a lead atleast 100 and bowled Pakistan out in max 150 runs or less than 100 to secure an easy win. Apparently there is pathetic field setting by Misbah-ul-Haq, This guy is defensive freak.... Shame Yasir shah is getting hit too much boundaries on the off-side just because there was no fielder there...

PS: Aamir bowls really well today If gets two quick wickets early Morrow Aussie would be in trouble. In the bowling department, Pakistan seriously needs to look at its combination, Sohail Khan can not be used more than an all-rounder if team wants him. Imran Khan should be given opportunities, He has always performed. Besides, Pakistan needs someone like Junaid Khan to support Aamir.
