Pakistan tour of Australia (Dec 2016 - Jan 2017)

I think that's overconfidence. A month ago I would have probably agreed with it. But seeing the way England played and put India in a spot of bother many times makes me think otherwise. I would not rule out Australia at all.

Of course, India are "expected" to win but it's not a guarantee.

Disagree about being overconfident. Given the relative strengths of India and Australia and factoring in the conditions, a 3-0 defeat would be a great source of encouragement to Australia. Trust me, it wouldn't be surprising if some of the games get over in 3 days.

Woha... Sarfraz is flying back home as well. Kamran Akmal returns door open...... If Kamran performed..?? Oh well... Incredible turn of events for Team Pakistan these days

I don't think Kohli will opt for rank turners in this series too. He seems to want to get that notion (can beat teams only on rank turners and/toss factor) out of the picture and thus might go the England way.

If Kamran flies ro Australia and performed, then you know the nature of PCB. Oh sarfraz..

The pitches don't need to be rank turners, even pitches that take the slightest of spin will be enough to kill Australia. Other than Smith, nobody is equipped to play on subcontinent pitches. Can see some really ugly things happening to Australia.

Hazlewood is pretty good too along with Starc.

How many wickets did he take in SL on pitches that aren't conducive to fast bowling of his type? I think he was going at 3's @ 35. This too, against a very inexperienced SL batting line up. Let him come to India, we will see. I personally think he will grab a whole lot of wickets in places like Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa but he's not Glenn McGrath like the Aussies like to portray. Personally, I feel he's going to get a good old mauling. I think someone like a Cummins will be very very handy to support Starc. He's quick and I've seen him reverse it a country mile. In my opinion, Starc, Cummins, Lyon and O'Keefe should form the bowling attack. Also, the Aussies would be wise to take Maxwell and Marsh along.

Cummins is currently playing only limited overs.

As far as I know Cummins hasn't played any fc game in the last 5 years !

Let the Aussies come to India. May be Chappell can request CA to stop sending them to our shores after that hammering. They lost to an absolutely defeated and depleted SL in SL, FFS! I can't wait for that test series. Anything but 4-0 will not quench my thirst.

Ohh Yeah.... This will happen only in your dream. Good night. Sweet dreams.

I wish it doesnt happen.. I can afford loosing from Australia even then seeing Kamran again in gloves.... A Nightmare....

Rizwan is more likely to be keeper, and Kamran will most likely play as a specialist batsmen.

Just saw the final line-up of Australia. The bowing line is looking pretty weak except Starc, Though Pakistan had the tendency of making Jackson Bird Grandhomme and Grandhomme to Jackson Bird... So Lets see what happens

In Pakistan's Final XI probables I am seeing either a play from Junaid Khan or Aamir, Personally I would like to see them both bowling from different ends to have a tight competition between themselves and that will be eventually benefit the team but maybe Aamir is quite fituged with loads of cricket in recent past, he better needs a rest. I have no hopes with Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali and Junaid are the key if they both clicked with Imad Wasim, Boy Australian batting would be in trouble atleast.
