Pakistan v Australia in England, June-July 2010

I dont know why you are all so confident...Bollinger to smack a 54 ball century...just wait and see....:sarcasm

You are unbelievable......
I'm preparing myself for the worse.

We also thought that Hilfy wouldn't get near to a 50...

Seriously, if Pakistan don't win this Test match from here, they really are the worst team in the history of the game.

Don't get me wrong, I love the way their bowlers have performed in this game under the conditions, but if Australia set a target of 150 and the Pakistani batsmen get bowled out for less than that, I will completely give up on them.

Cracking match though eh? Pakistan just might win by 10 wickets at some point but both teams have been fighting like mad, no boring passages of play.

This is such ordinary stuff from Gul :facepalm Also Michael holding is right in pointing out the crap captaincy from Butt. Its criminal to be this negative in such a commanding position.

Funny how often a leggy gets wickets from half trackers.
And the full tosses! I've often felt that it's the key reason why getting spin is more important than the accuracy; a loose ball can turn back into the right line, while loop and top/back spin can make a bad length useful.

It's not just for spinners, either. Even a slower ball full toss tends to have its moments.

I recall chanderpaul getting Steve Waugh out in 96/97 adelaide test with what Waugh describes as the worst ball he ever faced in test cricket, similar to the Danish ball and similar catch.

Come on Pakistan, get another wicket! This is a crucial moment - Australia could get a lead of 200 and win this match.

There was also that classic not long ago from Mohammad Ashraful to AB de Villiers. Ashraful bowled a straight half tracker, de Villiers gave it a big mow, but it bounced twice and effectively yorked him on the second bounce. Not so much finding turn and bounce as finding a sheer lack of it...

And the lead goes over 100 now. Our batsmen will be getting nervous. Things are starting to look ominous if you are Pakistani supporter

Two of the top contenders for world's best left arm quickie are pitted against each other here.
