I don't think we need to take 4th innings chases from the past into account because the pitch isn't tearing up, so there will be no real spin, and obviously no seam.

Conditions are definitely in our favor, it's the mental attitude that's the issue. The other thing being application of skill and as I keep on harping, no one in our team looks capable of scoring a 100 except Butt and Umar. If both of them indeed score centuries, we'd need another 180 odd runs from the others, which means atleast 2 50s and another couple of 30s, meaning all of the top order would have to fire which is difficult. That being said, the first thing would be to get rid of this pair before thinking of chasing down the total.
