Why we criticize misbah every time? His track record as a captain is very good. I still believe that if we could get early wickets then we can win the match. If Pakistan have time from lunch to end we have a chance ... Hafeez, Azhar & younis can do it in top order. Even if 20 to 25 runs are required to win last 15 mins, in light of rules the team can also be given extra time.

It's okay to be defensive every now and then. The important thing was ensuring the series victory. Is it good tv? No, but I don't think that's the primary concern here.

If you ask me Misbah is the man who is leading the team quite well.Every Captain has some flaws like India's Dhoni has got many trophies but still people criticize him.So in my view although he's a bit defensive but he's the best man to lead us in test

And when Pakistan team have been aggressive in test? Our last captain who stayed for a while was Inzi. was he aggressive? won't compare him(misbah) with Waqar and Wasim because they had a dream team but yeah apart from Wasim we never had an aggressive skipper since late 90s

I can't believe it. Its freaking raining in Sharjah. Now who could have bet on that?
A series win is almost a certainty for us now. Its a huge win and should do the confidence of team a world of good. A good showing in ODIS and we will be aptly prepared to take on the pams.

I understand what you are saying regarding Misbahs captaincy, but given Pakistans recent nature in TESTs, I think we can say that Misbah is doing the right thing. Get some solid wins, keep improving and lay the foundation for a much aggressive captain to come and take charge. We have to remember Misbah at best can last 2 years, and if his eventual successor has a well inherited and a confident team, the confidence will be there and we can see more positive cricket.

i had a feeling that pakistan are going for chase but Hafeezs runout just took this equation out of possibility because only he has the confidence to go for chase

For a change it was our batsmen who showed some grit. I am so happy with the batting effort. Bowling has always been our strength and whenever it is complemented by batting and fielding, we win.
