I have also added the Recommended amount of each type of player on the first post, not that it matters too much.

Tournament Rules Released

The tournament rules have been released today. The tournament will firstly start during July 2009, date still yet unknown. The 2 transfer windows will be from 1st July to 1st September and 1st January to 1st February of each year. No transfers will be allowed to be made during the first transfer window of the season. The 8 teams will play all other teams 3 times during the season making a total of 21 matches played by each team. ?20M will be payed to each club for Television Money. The bans will apply for each 5 yellow cards (1 match ban) and for every red card, a 1 match ban will apply. 3 subs will be allowed from a possible 7, and at least 1 goalkeeper must be on the bench except for when it is not possible (Only 1 goalkeeper not injured).

At the moment, the cup is looking like this.

> All 8 teams will play from Round 1.
> Extra Time, Then Penalties if Scores Are Level after 90 Minutes.
> ?5M for the winner. ?2M for Runner Up.
> ?500K is awarded for winning in the semi final.

> Nothing is awarded for the losers (except for in the final).
> 2 legs for First Round And Semi Final
> 1 leg Final

8.8.2009 - 1st Round (1st Leg)
29.8.2009 - 1st Round (2nd Leg)
28.11.2009 - Semi Final (1st Leg)
12.12.2009 - Semi Final (2nd Leg)
17.4.2009 - Final

Any suggestions are welcome. I was thinking about adding a few teams from over the world but the teams would be mostly destroyed as most of the top teams players will be playing for the clubs in this league.

Lescott, Milito and Gareth Barry for The Cove, thanks mate.

Hedger, I've picked Ageuro as a forward (He is a natural striker, and natural AMC though), would you put him as a midfielder or a forward for me?

The Defender's, Midfielder's, Forwards are just guidelines. There's nothing that says you can't play Forward's who also play midfield as midfielder's. You could even play them as defender's if you want but that probably wouldn't be smart.

Another hour or so and I will auto select 20/20 Pro's and Neil Das's players for them and I will put up what is still required by each team during the last 2 rounds of the draft.

Which Milito is it as well? Diego (Inter) or Gabriel (Barca)

I'll take it as Diego for the time being.

Ok. Round 5 drafting is over.

LLE (20/20 Pro) gets Jerome Boateng (U19), Andrey Arshavin and Bakary Sagna

Hell XI (Neil Das) gets Diego Forlan, Lassana Diarra and Ryad Babadouz (U19)

Hold Round 6 drafting until I release my next post.

Ok. This is what each team needs going into the last 2 rounds (8 players for each team) in terms of Player Type. Here it goes.

Sydney Superstars (MaD)

2 Defender's needed, 2 U19 Players needed.

GK: 2/2
DEF: 4/6
MID: 7/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 2/4

The Cove FC (Mattfb)

1 Defender needed, 2 Midfielder's needed, 2 U19 Players needed.

GK: 2/2
DEF: 5/6
MID: 5/7
FOR: 5/4
U19: 2/4

United Devils FC (Shan)

1 Defender needed, 1 Forward needed

GK: 2/2
DEF: 5/6
MID: 7/7
FOR: 3/4
U19: 4/4

Wigan Pathetic FC (Harishan)

1 Defender needed, 1 Midfield needed, 3 U19 Players needed

GK: 2/2
DEF: 5/6
MID: 6/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 1/4

Liverpool Leg Ends (20/20 Pro)

1 Defender needed, 1 Midfield needed, 1 U19 Player needed

GK: 2/2
DEF: 5/6
MID: 6/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 3/4

Hell XI (Neil Das)

2 Midfielder's needed, 1 U19 Player needed

GK: 2/2
DEF: 6/6
MID: 5/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 3/4

Melbourne Demons (Blake)

1 Goalkeeper needed, 1 Midfield needed, 1 U19 Player needed

GK: 1/2
DEF: 6/6
MID: 6/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 3/4

West Country FC

2 Defender's needed

GK: 2/2
DEF: 4/6
MID: 7/7
FOR: 4/4
U19: 4/4

So all teams will need at least 2 players that play a certain position and some teams still need some U19 players.

Round 5 Drafting Started. Pick 4 players.

How many Under 19s are required in the starting XI, or in the starting 16 including bench?

Rafael (U19), Tim Wiese, Gennaro Gattuso and Yaya Tour?

Well firstly, it's 7 subs, not 5.

I'm thinking 2 at the moment. That's probably the maximum. Can someone comment on the Cup structure.
